I would love to see this fight far more than GSP against either of them. I think their styles match up perfectly for a war.

The UFC better fit this fight in before Hughes faces GSP again.

i wonder if they will? it may be kinda dangerous to have matt on a two fight losing streak before he fights for the title and gets his third straight loss before retiring if that is what he wants to do.
OTOH, dana has done a lot in the last few days to create a helluva 07 in the ufc, so maybe...who knows?
I agree totally!!! I really think Diego is long over due for the title shot but since GSP has to face Sierra then it should be Diego and Hughes on the next card.
Koscheck called out GSP in his post fight interview hes like "Since my last 2 opponents have been Canadians and I've won you should just give my the 3 Canadian GSP to beat up too"
is there something wrong with him does he actually think he can beat GSP.
he almost lost last night... his stand up was off and his wrestling stoped.... gsp is much stronger then him and would kill him standing i would asume.

he almost lost last night?? i must have missed that fight... the fight that i saw was kos laying on joslin and easily winning a 30 to 27 UD...
regardless he still has trouble finishing some guys and isnt close to world class yet
maybe you should check the triangle hold and how all he was able to do is land take downs and nothing else... yeah he won all three rounds but he didnt hurt nor come close to finishing the fight in all three rounds.

Koscheck is a better wrestler than GSP but GSP is a good enough wrestler that he could possibly nullify Kos's strength. After that, it's KO time!

I think he may be the better wrestler, def not the better mma fighter.
And since they are both excellent wrestlers, the fight would be decided I believe by other aspects in which Hughes is superior.
They wont put a Diego / Hughes match on the same card as when GSP is taking on Serra because if Hughes was to lose, how could they justify giving him a rematch for the title, which is reportedly already a finalized deal.
I don't think there is a fighter at 170 who can nullify Koscheck's wrestling.

See thats the problem. Kos can take down anyone in the 170 with ease but once down he just doesn't do anything. He just lays there and occasionally throws an elbow. He really needs to be more active on the ground if he wants to contand with the title holder.
I was REALLY bummed out Riggs didn't make it a better fight. He's probably one of my favorite fighters. Why? Not sure, maybe I agree he appears to should have more skills then he's shown, and the dude can seriously wing a powerpunch. I just don't understand why it's not working out for him. With all his experience he should have tatoo'd Diego in the stand-up, and why the hell did he get up head first with Diego rushing him? I don't understand, he's gotta be better then that.
Now Diego and Hughes, that would be too good to be true. I've gots ta see that. That would be great.
I agree...with some more GnP skills, Kos will move up in WW rankings for sure...although he did a pretty good job yesterday and was stood up by Dean unnecessarily IMO.
