I don’t like the attitude of some of the fans who always like to complain. When they say if you had a quick fight that they wished it was longer and if you have a long fight they say you should have beaten this guy quicker. Some people you just can’t please. If it is so easy, they can put on a glove and do it themselves. I’ll watch them fight.

1.His name is Matt Hammil.Good wrestler, terrible everything else.Should be fighting soon, word on the street is against Alan Belcher. In which case he will be brutally KOd.
2.He was 3-2 in Pride losing to Chonan and Takase.Wanderlei Silva fights at 205,while Silva has never fought above 185,and has even fought at 167 in the past.
3.Uhm.....Brazilian heritage?
4.Guy Mezger had a stroke prior to the Tito fight, and Cote stepped up.He had to fight Lutter for the TV show, and he should have beaten both Doerkson and Leben, but he has stumbled under the big lights.

PS- Tito Ortiz is 5x the fighter that Big Nog and Frank Mir are... if they ever fought Tito would dig a grave and KTFO out of both of them with only his left hand.

1. Hamill will be back again, I was never really impressed with him and imo is going to be on the losing end of a highlight reel soon. The kid has some sloppy boxing.
2. Ryduce covered that well.
3. Giant Silva is not good so proves your theory wrong
4. No input

To answer the Silva question, a recent publication conducted a study in Brazil in which they investigated this very issue.
They took a population of 100 male athletes, all with the last name Silva, whose ages ranged from 18-35. What they discovered was that the population carried a unique gene.
This gene is responsible for the replication of "Elimination" cells. Elimination cells are responsible for the metabolism of dying, weaker cells.
Another interesting discovery was that elimination cells destroy weaker cells by using Muay Thai.
So the Silvas have Muay Thai cells.

I'm glad you brought that up Ninjamonkey. Obviously there are some exceptions, and to deterimine why "Giant" Silva isn't as dominant as other Silvas the scientists decided to investigate further.
The same scientists decided to trace Giant Silva's lineage. What was discovered was that Giant Silva actually is not a Silva at all. He actually comes from the "Sylvia" family.
Somewhere down the line, through poor record keeping or what not, some of the "Sylvias" were recorded as "Silvas."
Hence, Giant Silva is actually Giant "Sylvia." Tim Sylvia is also believed to be from the same Sylvia family that inhabited Brazil many years ago.

he does have middleweight belt, but pride's weight divisions are different then the ufc's. Pretty much prides middleweight division = ufc's lightheavyweight division.

You're right, but "middleweight" in Pride isn't the same thing as middleweight in the UFC.

I think they actually came to the conclusion that Giant Silva is infact Bigfoot.
