Yeah, that's some horrible match-making...

I bet it'll be Tito-Forrest II as well.

UFC 69 doesnt have a lot of big names on the card, but at least there are good fights that could go either way.

Diego/Kos
Swick/Okami
Stevenson/Huerta
If they match Herring up with someone decent it will make 4/5 solid fights, plus we get to see GSP again...

I don't understand the UFC matchmaking. What's the point of this fight? I really hope it stays a rumor, and doesn't happen.

Forrest's career is going downhill fast right now. The last thing he needs is to lose again. Especially to a brutal guy like Tito. Wasn't Forrest's loss to Jardine bad enough?
I guess the UFC doesn't care about Forrest anymore....

Could you post a source when you repeat rumours like these, please?

MMA Weekly is the recognized authority on this type of speculation, and they aren't predicting some of these matches (e.g. They don't show an opponent for Cro Cop and Stevenson & Huerta are on the card, but not shown fighting each other. Heath is not shown at all). Any of these could happen, but you're stating it as though it's established. Until they're confirmed by the UFC, it's not official.

I really hope Forrest/Tito doesn't happen. It just isn't at all interesting... We all know that Forrest is going to mad as hell and swinging like a maniac, so what if he catches Tito and knocks him out? They'll be one each and the Tito haters will have something else to talk about. The more likely scenario is that Tito will take Forrest down, pound him a bit, and then you know...either he'll get a good enough pounding in to finish it or he'll grind him out for a decision. We all know Tito can beat Forrest Griffin, so who cares if this later scenario plays out again? I won't think any less of Forrest for losing to the former world champion and last year's number one contender.

The worst part about this match is that I really want to see both of these guys fight, just not against each other. Why won't they just give us Tito vs Rashad? They need to stop babying Rashad. He's a big boy now, it's time he got himself into a fight. He's worked his way up and he needs to fight somebody big to prove himself and earn a title shot. Rashad vs Tito is the match that makes the most sense.

69 looks like it has some interesting fights. I just feel bad for serra as he gets dominated by gsp. But, gsp has dominated everybody lately so I guess it's not that bad.

Probably won't be the best fight, but who does everyone like in the Spratt vs. Davis fight?
