One of my favourite submissions is the arm-bar that Matt Hughes put on GSP in their first encounter. It was great reversal and seemed to come out of no where. It seems strange to say that as I much prefer GSP to Hughes (no one was cheering louder than me when GSP took the belt from Hughes in the rematch), but I've got to admit that first one impressed me as I didn't think Hughes had any submissions in his arsenal.

Just to get technical, no one submitted in that fight. Herb Dean made them stop, but Tim (stupidly) had every intention of continuing.

One submission that stands out at the moment is Diaz submitting Neer then dipping out to pride.

I like Hughes vs Trigg (I don't remember if it was fight I or II), when Hughes forced him to tap from a RNC he sunk in when they were standing up.

Not sure it's my favorite, but I like when Von Flue choked out Karalexis. I don't even know what kind of choke it was. Didn't he use his shoulder?

Penn tapping hughes was awesome. The look on Hughes face afterward was classic.
Oldschool Royce tapping Severn was awesome, royce got beat down for like 12 minutes then got the tap.

2. BJ Penn vs Matt Hughes - i love seeing hughes loose

3. Royce Gracie vs Jason Delucia - great armbar

That was #1 actually. They were both kinda classic. The first one had that finish, and the second one (which also had a RNC-finish) had Trigg kneeing Hughes in the nuts in the beginning.

My fave also has to be Penn-Hughes. Not because the sub was anything fancy, but because it was such a humongous event for me (and UFC).

1) Diaz/Jackson III - Sweetest, smoothest, tightest armbar I've seen (In The UFC) in ages.

2)Royce Gracie/Kimo Leopoldo- Cause with the beating Royce took, freakin he still almost pulled Kimo's arm off his body

3)BJ Penn/Matt Hghes I - Cause I just love chokes

4)Ken Shamrock/Dan Severn - Cause I hate Severn and that guilliotine is one for the record books

5) Frank Shamrock/KEvin Jackson - Probably hands down the best armbar in UFC history
