Default Jon Fitch Vs. Luigi Fioravanti

Jon Fitch Vs. Luigi Fioravanti at UFC 68. Isnt it time that Fitch start fighting some top tier opponents. Personally I would rather see Fitch vs Kos and Diego vs Hughes at 69. Thoughts?

Fitch is 4-0 in the UFC, I agree he should be fighting top tier guys, I think he should fight Diego!

I think Fitch and Kos are in the same camp, so that's probably out. But I agree, they need to put him in there against the top dogs, he's a great talent. At least stop putting him on the undercard...

Even a match with Kos would be a step back for Fitch. He's undefeated in the UFC, while Kos lost to Fickett. Fitch is considered to be the #4 WW right now. Since he's winning, he should have either gotten a match with Hughes or Diego. What the hell is Lytle doing in there?

I would guess that if Diego and GSP win their fights at 69 they will fight for the title and if Hughes and Fitch win their fights at 68 they will fight each other for a title shot after Diego. However you would think that once in a while they could put him on tv and not the undercard...

I bet Hughes is fighting GSP right after Lytle.

IF Diego beats Kos, he might want to fight Fitch.

Dana White is making tons of money by promoting Hughes, Sanchez, GSP... maybe he thinks Fitch isn't as marketable---- so keep in on the undercard instead of beating one of the big money makers.

honestly everyone is marketable, it just depends on when. as of right now the diego and kos fight is mostly a hyped rematch. but it is way way way too bad he's on the undercard :\ i CAN understand why they didn't give him to hughes though, dana does nooot want hughes to lose because they'd be down a really really marketable WW who brings in a lot of fans.

well, as long as you don't lose good things will come eventually. (if you don't have a frankshamrock or brandonvera attitued...)

He's on the undercard so he will probably be the next #1 contender. It seems if you make the undercard, you miracalously get the next title shot.

with all the talent in the WW division i am really upset that Lytle is fighting Hughes and Fitch is fighting Luigi. a swap would be very awesome. but i understand whats going on with the matchups i just dont have to like it.

if Diego beats Kos and doesnt get an immediate title shot im going to be very upset. i know its a very real possibility but im tired of waiting for these really talented guys getting passed for there shot at the title. whats even more fustrating is if Hughes beats GSP then people will want a 4th fight no doubt. and you'll see the same type of cycle take place. matching up the best agianst the best may hurt some records but give the fans some credit they know who the better fighters are and will watch them if you put them in front of us.
