thanks bomber, interesting read.
you seem to have a ton of mma knowledge bomber, so i would like to know if you know what gsp was referring to when he said dana and rashad had issues surrounding rashad's comments concerning fighting jardine? that make any sense?
ill try this: you hear what happened with dana and rashad about rashad saying he wont fight jardine?

From what I heard:
In the dressing room after the Salmon fight, Dana said something about Rashad fighting Keith next. Rashad said he won't fight Keith because they're friends. Dana said, you will if I say so. Rashad said no, I won't. Dana was pissed, and left the dressing room.

dana is always such a little drama queen lol... he loves talking about stuff RIGHT after fights happen... how about waiting a couple weeks and going through the contractual stuff

thanks bomber, i hadnt heard that. i dont blame dana, though. if i have 2 fighters that would draw a crowd and put on a good show, and that are paid to fight and work for me, i would be pissed to. especially in the LHW division where 1/2 the roster is from tuf, and the division itself is in need of some help. look at rampage. if he beats or loses to chuck, i expect a 3rd fight either way (rubber match or rematch if rampgae wins), but after that there are a lot of new guys that need to be tested. forrest is kinda out (especially if he fights and loses to tito), babalu is out of the title picture (lost twice), tito is likley out of the title scene for a while, so is left? rashad, keith, bisping (??), so i can why dana would want to establish the heirarchy.
but i kinda understand not wanting to fight your buddy, but i dunno. i suppose i am not really surprised GSP said that, it seems to fit into how he rolls.
ALSO, THE REPORTER SAID GSP IS KNOWN TO BE KURT TO HIS FANS? ANYONE EVER HERE THAT OR know what he was referring to? i just cant see gsp being kurt to anyone.
"i was not impressed by the manner inwhich you asked for an autograph"--GSP to an 11 year old kid...wtf,:sport-smi lol

There are some good fights for Evans without making him fight his friend, if Dana would just stop protecting guys (Rashad, Rampage, Tito, Bisping). He's running out of matches because he wants to control the outcomes.

i agree. i think that rashad tito or rashad babalu could be a ppv main event. i would buy it just to see rashad face to top of the division.
i think that, ironically, dana is, himself, stagnating some divisions.
moreover, everyone loses fights sometime or another. every champ in teh ufc has a loss, and keeping undefeated fighters undefeated artificially doesnt do much to put asses in the seats when they are fighting guys when the outcome is known before the fight starts.
