Dana White on The Hot List - ESPN
I don't knw if any of you saw it yesterday, but they had Dana White on ESPN's THe Hot List yesterday. Same guy who interviewed COuture last month when he defeated Sylvia. Great interview.
Basically about the Pride merger and upcoming UFC 69. The guy on ESPN also said that a lot of the ESPN producers really are getting into the sport because they admit they didnt know anything about it until TUF show and now half the studio is hooked on it. Dana also discussed why Tito didnt show for the boxing match, basially he no commented the whole thing.
WHite did say though that he dropped from 216 lbs to 197 lbs for the boxing match that never happened and that Spike TV will air a special on the whole thing including Dana WHite's weigh in and training, for the match etc.
And the ESPN announcer ended the interview well with a nice line..."Congratulations to you and this very exciting sport. It deserves all the attention it can get right now because it's truly a great sport."
Hopefully ESPN will include MMA/UFC into its everyday recap programming just like all the other sports.

I would watch alot more sports centre if they did.

Agreed, TSN, Sports Net and maybe they can get Don Cherry to cover some MMA on Coaches Corner. I wonder what he would say if he knew the best WW in the world is French Canadian, and the best fighter is Russian.  |

Lol Don Cherry is a crazy Leaf fan. I can't stand him anymore. He makes alot of stupid derogatory comments and gets paid by my government too do so(he works for CBC). Great use of my tax dollers guys. |
