UFC Champs vs Pride Champs... - Fight Forum - MMA - UFC - Boxing - K1

If this has already been posted, I apologize. I haven't been on much as of late. But, I was thinking...since the UFC and Pride are essentially going to be one entity...they should have an event where they pit all the UFC champs against all the Pride champs and unify the belts or just establish one belt. Could you imagine the match-ups? Fedor vs Randy, Henderson vs. Liddell...I think it'd be frickin' great. Thoughts?

amazing matchups would be available now but throwing them at the public at once would be retarded and I promise you your not going to see a event called pride champs vs UFC champs , it would be a crazy event and probably break all PPV records ever set but at the same time the following PPVS would suffer greatly . This being said I am interested in seeing how Fedor does against Matt Lindland Olympic wrestler , I can't see Fedor losing but seeing how he handles presure of a world class wrestler would give me a better Idea if Randy would have a chance in a epic battle with Fedor. Fedor will lose and its coming shortly Dan vs Chuck I don't think thats a great matchup either , I would rather see Dan vs Silva and Chuck vs Shogun .
Just my pointless Ideas of what would be nice to see go down this year but your completly right its exciting to consider some of the matchups .

He's already fought Mark Coleman. Coleman is world class and Fedor destroyed him...however, Randy Couture is a much more well rounded fighter overall than Mark Coleman. Randy's stand up game and the fact that he is a world class olympic and greco roman would make it an interesting battle, but I'd still give the edge to Fedor.

If this card ever happened it would be simply amazing. Especially if they wanted to really make it a superbowl of MMA they could have champion vs. champion and then say #1 contenders against each other in each weight division. Yes it would be long, but also amazing lol.

The only flaw I really see in this is that usually there are atleast one title fight every card, and fighters need time to prepare for them. So if there is this mega card with all the champions how far about would the before and after cards be, or would there be no championship fights?
