Hughes vs. GSP 3 or Hughes vs. Serra - Fight Forum - MMA - UFC - Boxing - K1

I brought this up in the spoiler forum, but I think we should have Hughes vs. GSP 3 before Hughes vs. Serra. They need a rubber match and Hughes should have to go through GSP before getting the chance to face Serra.

In the meantime, Serra should drop down to LW and beat Sherk for the LW title. Then he can go back up to WW and face the winner of Hughes/GSP 3 (aka GSP

)

I think Hughes will probably face Serra next, while GSP may face diego, kos, or even fitch, working his way back to the title. I would imagine if any of those 3 won, they would be put into the title equation instead.

i can see it going something like this....You can tell GSP is pissed off at losing to serra.. I feel sorry for the next person he fights because he is going to come back strong

Hughes vs Serra. Serra doesn't like Hughes at all, so I think he'd really bring it in this fight. I think Serra could beat him. His striking's alot better, and I think his jiujitsu and a lil gnp is enough to beath Hughes.

I'm personally not interested in a Hughes/GSP fight. At least not right now. Let these guys fight other people. There's so many WW's out there like Koscheck, Sanchez, Parisyan, Fitch......plus all the Pride guys they could possibly fight. There's no need for constant, redundant rematches.

I want to see KOS v Serra for the belt I think KOS has better grpling and who knows on the feet. Meanwhile have GSP v Hughes 3 and the winners face each other for the belt in december!

SO it will be KOS v GSP in december around UFC 77ish

I can only agree, Kos vs Serra for belt. Then Hughes vs GSP 3. Kos vs GSP for the belt later on. I think Kos vs GSP makes for a good fight...

I read Hughes' blog from the 8th and he said that Serra beating GSP was shocking to him. He also stated that hopefully he will be fighting Serra in the future. He made no mention of wanting anymore of GSP............

why shouldnt hughes be serra's first title defense? He is a 7 time defending champion and just won his last fight. He has no reason not to get a title fight. If anything GSP should have to have one or two fights before getting a rematch for his old belt. I love GSP a lot but he got school and Matt has every reason to demand a title shot.

Its defiantly going to be Hughes vs. Serra, the story of how they hate each other is very marketable and has Dana seeing $$ I bet. Then it sets the perfect stage for a Hughes/GSP 3, if MAtt wins. I know its sounds a little WWE storyline-ish but they are going to stick with what makes them the most money not matches we haven't seen yet... As for who GSP face's next, how can it not be KOS I guess, I mean his win over Sanchez earned him a shot at legitimate NON-reality TV fighters. That being said, I'm not a KOS fan and I hope he gets smashed! Lol

C'mon guys! If Hughes beats serra for the belt, it'll just make the Rubbermatch between Hughes/GSP all that more awesome since it'll be for the belt again.

No doubt Dana is hoping for this outcome. Since it'll be a lot better for business, PPV buys, etc. The title belt on the line makes all the difference!

I can only imagine that Serra went to Dana and Joe Silva immediatly after the fight and demanded a match with Hughes. He talked numerous times on how he wanted a fight with Hughes. I think this would be the best matchup. Let GSP fight Kos for #1 contender.

I don't know how people can consitently give KOS a fight with GSP when Fitch deserves it more than KOS. KOS fight with Sanchez was not spectacular sure he won, but Sanchez was fighting scared. I say Hughes vs Serra just so Serra can shut Hughes up, and GSP vs Fitch.

Hughes vs Serra for the title.....Winner gets GSP after that I say they should have Kos fight someone else before they give him a title shot if he beats them then let him fight the winner of GSP vs Serra/Hughes.

Diego gets the loser of Serra vs Hughes and then the loser of GSP vs Serra/Hughes

Winner of Kos vs X gets the winner of GSP vs Serra/Hughes for the title.

Their I did your work for you Joe Silva all you got to do is find Kos' someone pretty good to fight for his title shot I vote Karo but I will leave that to you Joe
