i'm a hughes fan as a fighter, not a person. i'm a serra fan as a fighter and a person. i can't wait till serra beats hughes. hopefully serra is a big underdog so i can win lots of points

I'm kinda sick of hearing Serra whine and moan about Matt hughes. Yeah we get it, he does not like the guy.
Enough already, like a damned broken record serra is when on the subject of Hughes.

Dude, take your own advice. All you have done since 69 is whine about GSP. Matt Serra gets asked these things and responds honestly. All fighters sound like broken records in interviews because they get asked the same questions. Nobody asks for your arrogant whining and moaning, but we're stuck hearing it anyways.

Serra is a New Yorker. Those who don't know, arent born, or havent been there don't understand that natural instinct to just wanna argue/fight.
NO it's not like you being hard cause you might be hard as a person.fighter, NO it's not like what you think you went through in life or did go through... It's something different. The need to argue. The need to be right. No amount of "Hardness or toughness" couples being a genetic freakin New YORKER
As a born New Yorker (Brooklyn, Queens) or hell even (freakin Upstate New York like Kingston another ****hole).......
As a New Yoooorrrrrrrker, you have to always win. Even in defeat.
Only this Time the guy isn't in defeat which makes it easier.
Hughes has no idea what he's gonna get into with Serra. Hughes has no idea. Not one clue. No amount of training, no amount of Miletich, no amount of country music has any preparation for how Serra is....
You won't rattle him mentally, you may out-train him physically, but COUNTRY BOY CAN SURVIVE doesent work in Long Island, Brooklyn, Queens, Manhattan, and the ****hole
Serra has no real immediate threat except GSP to his crown..... And Canadians make New Yorkers laugh even more.
I'm not trying to make this a racial thing, just a cultural understanding of how most New Yorkers immediately think.... (I was born in NEW YORK BED STUY `1972)..... And Although I only lived 10 years there, I understand...
The rest of the world is just jerkoffs even though I know they arent
Serra has it... And proved though at least for this month..... They are

This is why people make fun of New Yorkers for being ignorant, good job explaining that to everyone.

Well one of those "Ignorant" New yorkers simply is UFC WW Champ right now over a "Smart" Canadian
The Irony right?
I prayed this day would never come that one of our own in New York would be a significant champ in fighting...........
But it happened. We have to now weather the storm.......
You might think you're a fighter and know how to fight. Until you visit New York.
Serra will be on top longer than most think

Wow you need to get off NYs nuts. I never said Canadians were smart...
I really like that comment about not knowing how to fight until you visit New York. Thats why they have produced such amazing fighters! Good call.
