Jon Fitch vs. Roan Carneiro
MMAWeekly posted a rumor about this matchup for the TUF finale. Stomping foot with exasperation. Why is the UFC routinely putting Fitch in non-compelling matchups? Honestly, I thought for sure that they'd match him up either against Diego, Swick or the winner or the Parysian/Burkman fight. Looking at the silver lining, since this is at a TUF event, hopefully this means he won't be banished to the undercard.

Fitch will keep this fight on the feet. Roan has great BJJ but not much else. I would never complain about a free fight.

I think it's more that we want Fitch to grow and progress in the UFC

I like fitch, I think he should get a real fight opportunity to really boost through the ranks soon. I would like him to fight Sanchez or maybe the loser of Serra and Hughes.

I'd just like to say that the biggest travesty right now is not Fitch's next opponent, but the fact that one particular member no longer uses an avatar of a squirel driving a car.

Too bad Fitch wasn't on a TUF season. He would be getting the attention that he deserves and some other fighters don't

Yea it is a shame. But eventually he will be where Marquardt is. Fitch is just in a deeper division. If his next match isn't a big one i'm going to start throwing some hissy fits. Carneiro seems like a tough guy, but Fitch needs to be fighting some names, and last week.

Jon Finch is 5-0 in the UFC , with 2 submissions , one knock out and 2 Decision wins and he still Isn't getting the respect he deserves . He beat Josh Burkman already yet Burkman gets Karo Parisyan next ?? knocks out Thiago Alves who was suppose to have amazing power, when the guys gets you down he never stops pushing for the win , has great hands for a Division 1 wrestler turned MMA star . I had to watch Joe Riggs how many times lose and yet still get shots , how many shots they planning on giving Elvis Sinosic Its blows my mind how some fighters are thrown on a soft comfy pillow while others have to slowly but surly work towards even being seen on a PPV. Its truly Insulting to MMA fans I dunno if some fighters just have the ability to stick there tongue's deep Inside Dana Whites butt, worst part is the 170 Division is so freaking stacked why is it so hard to give him a legit matchup ?

The UFC: 60% fighting, 40% show biz . Being a good fighter doesn't always cut it. Now if Fitch dyed his hair red and pissed on some guys pillow then just maybe......
