TUF 5: Episode 6
"It's two fights in one show. It's Joe Lauzon vs. Brian Geraghty, followed by Rob Emerson vs. Corey Hill. Who will move on to the next round and gets a shot at the ultimate prize?" -www.ultimatefighter.tv
As anticlimatic as last episode was, this one should definitely make up for it I think with 2 interesting fights. I pick Lauzon to advance by 2nd round TKO and Hill by decision.

I think Lauzon will win easily, although I can't fault team Pulver for making the match. Geraghty has 27 fights I believe so from an experience factor, he is probably the best person on Jens team to take on Lauzon. Hill-Emerson should be an AWESOME fight and I am really looking forward to that one!

Both fights should be extremely exciting. Lauzon FTW

I gave round 1 to Emerson based on aggression.
You can tell Corey lacks experience and training. His footwork and his body movement looks akward.
Despite the fact that he lied, I think Dana is going to keep him around. He seems coachable, and his size will present problems for people once he gains some experience. Get that guy in a good camp, and I think we'll see a good fighter.

I think emerson won. I was disappointed with hill, I thought he would have been more explosive. His lack of experience showed in that fight, I didn't see him check one of those leg kicks. Hill also had a akward style, but after saying that, the fight was pretty close.
Edit: seems we are getting 2 fights next week too, sweet

Wow, that was frustrating. I was hoarse from screaming at Emerson. He just wouldn't engage and wouldn't listen to BJ. Not enough leg kicks, no combos, laying back trying to stay out of range. That fight was Rob's to lose, and he lost it. Not impressed with either guy.

I was dissapointed with both fighters. Corey looked very amateur and Emerson didn't capitalize at all. Emerson should of been more aggresive and thrown more leg kicks. Overall, I think it could of gone either way, but I can see why they picked Hill.

That was ridiculous. I don't even care how anyone scores the first two rounds. It all came down to that third, and Emerson was ripped off worse than I've seen any fighter robbed in a long time. A unanimous decision for Corey?!? Based on what?!? Corey hung back and hardly threw anything, and Emerson repeatedly landed those leg kicks. I'd say Emerson landed more kicks than Corey landed jabs.
Robbed. Emerson was robbed.
Good job from J-Lau, though. That was a pretty ferocious win.
I laughed out loud when Corey said post-fight that it all came down to heart and he let it all hang out. I hope when he sees the tape he realizes how untrue that is.

I donīt know whatīs with Pennīs guys. They just DON`T want to do what he tells them. This season will go out with Penn blowing a vocal chord. Emerson did ok, but I was not impressed. Hillīs barks are loud, but his bites arenīt viscious either. I think the 3rd Round was a tie, with an edge for Emerson, however since it was Hillīs first MMA fight I am not dissappointed with the result either. All three judges scoring the last round for Hill was kind of strange though.

This looks more like a drunk Krav post than a SitnSpin post. You seem to imply that Emerson dominated that round. He did less than Corey did. I gave the last round to Hill. The only thing Emerson did was land a few kicks. There were a few exchanges that had Emerson ducking for cover. Of course, I had bet points on this fight, so I am kinda biased.

I don't see what your arguement is. They both did nothing. Emerson landed maybe 2 or 3 leg kicks that couldnt drop a guy with toothpicks for legs. They gave it to Hill because he landed more jabs.
