Gabe: One of the next TUF "stars" ?
For someone who didn't even fight he sure received a lot of air time.
The seires had been completed before the first episode aired so they had plenty of time to edit him out but instead he gets a majority of the attention.
Is Gabe going to be another Chris "I never beat anyone on TUF" Leben in that the TUF fans know him so he is fighting in the UFC anyway. With Leben I don't think "talent " keeps him there. If Dana wanted, he could bring in untold numbers of MW fighters that would walk all over Leben.
TUF fame = UFC fame.

Hopefully not. Gabe had too much air time and too much forum time, my opinion. There isn't much to say about this guy, he is untalented and he has no lead in his gut.
Leben, on the other hand, is no Gabe Ruediger. Chris Leben has KO power, he has an iron chin, he is well rounded, and not only does he fight his heart out but he genuinely cares for his fans and is exciting to watch. He just doesn't have what it takes to be a real serious contender, but he's still young.

Gabe can blow it out his ***, literally I guess. I hope Dana allows him to fight in UFC against someone who tried to get on TUF5 but couldn't. Then he gets his azzz handed to him on a silver platter.

Yeah, guys with no talent often win titles in MMA, much like Gabe Ruediger when he won the WEC LW title...

Whatever man, I'm talking about UFC talent here. He may have won a belt in WEC, who cares? He can't stand up to the guys in the UFC.

Guys, let's not get out of hand. He has talent, period. More than all of you combined who posted about him. His heart may be a different story. He wanted air time, as is quite evident. If he wanted to be like that, then fine. It might work out for him, it may not. We will found out.

Chris Leben is not well rounded. He has bare survival skills on the ground. He's hard to sub because he's strong and tough, but his grappling and BJJ are pretty rudimentary.

Well, if Ruediger is going to be successful off his appearance on TUF 5, it won't be in the UFC.
Ruediger to fight at Dynamite
Apparently, Zuffa has terminated his contract and K-1/FEG has asked for him to be cleared to fight on the upcoming Dynamite card.
