I would say Ruediger, and those two from season two. The one heavyweight who just quit, and the one southerner who also didnt make weight. Their names werent even worth remembering.

At least Weems didn't start yelling about how he was an "Ultimate Fighter" like Abbadi did after his loss. I think with both fights last night, the fact that they both got caught with a right, right at the beginning of the fight was their downfall. They never really got a chance to show anything.

im not sure weems could have shown anything if they redid that fight 10 more times.... i wonder if they put complete scrubs on the roster every now and then just for fun to show how hard it really is

Who was that jerk-off last year that got demolished and ground and pounded nearly to death and after the fight bragged about how much heart he had and how he stood in there. That guy was bad. Real bad.

The lad who they called "strange brew". I cant remember his name. But he arrived in bad shape for the show and was sent home very early. He was wanting to quit but Bobby Southworth kept encouraging him.

Jason Thacker
Eli Joslin(Why sign up for a show if you get separation anxiety and cameras bother you?)
Same season as Joslin, the kid that couldn't make weight by 2 lbs even though he had hours left to do it!

Ruediger is nowhere near as bad as the other guys mentioned ability-wise. And I think that's what this thread was about.
I thought it was funny how proud Abbadi was about surviving to a decision against Gurgel too. Jorge's ego must have took a hit there too.
Ross Pointon has not been mentioned yet.

We've seen something close to that in the TUF Finales. Like Karalexis TKOing Rafferty. Starnes choking out Abbadi. Leben TKOing Thacker etc. Rory Singer subbing Ross Pointon. Although Starnes and Leben are actually pretty good.

In fairness to him, he showed he had a lot of balls, stepping up a weight to fight Bisping, when every one else bottled it. Dana loved him for that. In my opinion I would have more time for someone like that, who genuinely loved to fight than someone who just used the show for TV time or were to lazy to make weight etc!

I give him props for that too.
But he didn't belong on the show. He had a losing record on small shows.
He was there just because he was a "wacky ol' English guy".
I don't get why they pick so many average fighters on the show.
So that they get stoppages in the fights?
There are plenty of good fighters out there with personalities, so it can't be that.
Even Florian was picked over Fickett who he lost to in a fight that Dana went to watch before TUF 1. Not saying Kenflo is a bad fighter, but did anyone expect him to win at MW? He was lucky to get to the finals.

Yea i agree 100%...MMA has really broken into the mainstream these last few years. With tons of guys gettin into the sport, its hard to fathom Wayne Weems was one of the best 16 who tried out for the show...
Either there was about 18 people at the auditions, or they're casting personalites over skill...which still makes no sense, because my notebook has more personality then Weems...no offense.
But its hard for big MMA fans to watch such amateur fighters make this show.
Whichever UFC exec thought Weems was deserving of a spot on the show needs to lose his job....and fast. Maybe Dana was out sick that day

Yeah Corey I can kind of understand but I almost forgot Weems was on the show till last week!
Corey Hill's audition probably was him barking at the producers....ok a 6'4" 155lbs whacko...youre on...what no pro fights?...who cares we need ratings!

Ya i agree i dont think there was much to see from him either way.
I wonder about that sometimes as well, because sometimes they have guy's on there that i dont even look like they have ever been in a fight.
Cory Hill is a god example, that was the guys first pro fight?

I'd also say Rafferty and Thacker.
That pretty boy boxer was pretty bad also, he got taken to school badly.
