Yeah. Spike TV wanted that fight but not only is it not happening, those two guys are never going to fight in the UFC according to Dana.
We're gonna see Lobstah in the Finale though.

I'd much rather see Maynard vs Manny and Lauzon vs Diaz in the semis. I think Lauzon and Manny are the two that should face eachother in the finals. I'm not impressed the slightest by Diaz.

Well, those would be good fights too. No matter who fights in the semis, it shoud be great and set up a great finale.

Since they showed the whole teammate vs teammate in the preview i would not be shocked if it didn't go that way.
I think it might maybe manny vs diaz in the final, or diaz vs lauzon

I hope its Joe vs Manny and Gray vs Nate. I really think that Gray can take Diaz down and GNP him. An all Penn finale would make my dreams come true.

If it goes teammate vs teammate I could see Manny beating Nate. We all seen how Diaz preformed at first with Hill's aggression, so I'm curious to see how he will do against Manny.

Personally I think Diaz is going to win the whole with a Lauzon vs Diaz final. I think he will win the final by GnP, dont know which round. Manny also did well this show but I still think Nate could beat him even though he didnt look to godo against Corey, everyone has there off days.

I dont think Manny needs Karo for motivation, he looks like motivation is his biggest strength, I can see him winning a lot of decisions thanks to it.
I think the Wiman - Manny fight was technical, there was a lot of switching positions on the ground, Manny doing very well at keeping Wiman on the bottom. But Manny seemed limited to either boxing or wrestling, he could strike standing or get top position but didn't know how to strike on the ground or go for submission, and his stand up was just a way to get it on the ground.
Nate's performance seemed a little confused, I think because he didn't have sufficent coaching and lacked preparation for the fight. Corey made him look in the wrong weight class (body fat%?) which more than compensated for his lankyness and inexperience on the ground, until he came against a move he didn't know - the rubber gaurd, (it seemed to me anyway).
I think team mate vs team mate guarantees that the semi-final won't be better than the final.
I could see Manny beating Maynard, but not Nate or Joe. Maynard could beat Nate or Joe. Joe's worse match up would be Nate, Nate's might be Maynard.

If it goes teammate vs teammate I don't think Nate's going to beat Manny, those small muscular limbs are hard to get a submission off of. As for Grey and Joe, it's harder to call. Grey has done well but not schooled any of his opponents, and Joe went on to crush in his first fight and then not do all that well against Cole until an illegal elbow. So if I HAD to pick, I'd go Joe.

On the UFC website it's stating that manny is fighting joe and that diaz is fighting grey. It's also saying there is two episodes on thursday not just the one episode.

Yes, that would make sense considering how close the Finale is. They've done two episodes at the end in the past IIRC.
