How is it not objective? Team Pulver won the prelims. Team Pulver won the semis. And, for sure, Team Pulver will win the finals. Where in that equation did the ultra-awesome coaching skills of BJ Penn surface and make his team win the big fights on the show? Yes, they won a few. But, THEY LOST THE SHOW. It was obvious that BJ Penn is not a great coach. He may be a good trainer for like one guy. But, he cannot train a team of guys to win. He lacks the cardio knowledge (evident in most of the fights) to get his guys in shape. Dana White even took Penn aside and told him that the team compained of lack of cardio and conditioning.

Why is it hatred to point out what the show displayed as "fact" (if you believe that the show was unedited for drama and unscripted). I mean, I can buy the idea that the show executives and DW portrayed Penn as a loser coach that did not help his team. But, if you go there, then you have to admit that Ken Shamrock was also screwed over and falsely portrayed.
So, which is it? Did Shamrock suck as a coach? Did Tito out-coach Shamrock as well as he out-fought Shammy? Is it clearly evident on TUF that Ortiz was the superior coach. or, was it edited to make Shamrock look bad in order to hype for their fight? If they did edit and script Penn and Shamrock, then look at the Finale for each. Ortiz beat Shamrock, and their season of TUF was more about them then the actual fighter-contestants.
The same does seem to be happening with the recent season of TUF. Penn may or may not win with Pulver, but this season had little to do with the actual fighters, and the drama was mostly about hyping Penn and Pulver for their fight. Serra and Hughes will be the next coaches. Afterwards, they'll fight. What theme do you expect to find with TUF-6? Do you expect it to be ALL about the new fighters? Or, will it be a six-week hype session for Serra and Hughes?
I 100% promise that they portray Hughes as the "bad" coach.
