I think had Grey had a better gas tank, he could've won that fight. I'm happy though that Nate was able to weather the storm, and win the fight.

I was happy to see Nate win. I don't think that Manny can survive 3 rounds LNP'ing Nate without being submitted.
I predict Nate by triangle in the second.

I say it will either be Manny by GnP or Nate by sub, i can't see the finale going to a decision.

Nice win for Diaz. Gray really needs to work his submission defense. If he wasn't significantly stronger than Nate, that fight would've ended by armbar or kimura in the first minute. There was submission after submission available, but Nate wasn't strong enough to pull it off. He's going to have the same problem with Manny, who is just as stout as Gray. I really wish we could've seen Gray/Manny and Diaz/Lauzon. Hindsight is always 20/20, but those are the matchups I would've liked to have seen. But, I'm sure Dana was planning (hoping) on a Diaz/Lauzon final. It sucked watching Manny LnP himself to victory. I really hope Diaz can pull it off and beat Manny or we're going to have another "wet blanket" TUF champ.

I completely agree. I would rather watch Gray go balls to the walls than LNPing Manny. Manny's LNP isnt going to work with the submission specialist Diaz. Nate really impressed me tonight working his submissions and weathering the storm. He had an outstanding performance imo.

I was bummed that they didn't announce who would be in the other fights.
My guess is that it will be Lauzon vs. Maynard, Wiman vs. Miller, and then I have no idea after that.

Unfortunately I knew who the finalists were as soon as it was revealed that it wasn't team-mate vs. team-mate.
Good job by Manny controlling Lauzon.
And Nate is just like his bro. You can't finish that guy, and he's constantly dangerous.
Quote of the episode from Nate:

Hearing people say that all the time, you know.
Oh, he’s a mental fighter, emotional fighter.
I don’t even know wtf that means.
It's the most retarded **** ever heard.

I expect Nate to beat Manny in the finale. Nate is a lot like Lauzon but I don't think Manny can pull off another win like that.

Yeah i wanted Joe to win against Manny so i was frustrated, but then i got my hopes up when Joe got his back in Round three but manny, a small but strong fighter he pulled of the win by controlling the 3 rounds.
The second fight i really didn't care who won but i was in the Favor of Gray anjd he was winning too but Again with Skill Nate pulled off a Submission.

I don't think so. Not to mention I don't think he was LNping at all. He was looking for submitions and Joe was holding him down for dear life so he could not get space to Ground and pound. Manny controlled the ground game witch joe is also really good at.
Manny vs Nat I see Manny getting the take down and nat going for sub after sub but not being abel to get them because of how much stronger manny is. Not to mention next to Nate most likely the most technical guy on the ground on tuff 5.
I s a war on the ground that manny wins due to being on top and doing a little more damage.

Well, after 12 episodes, Team Pulver has won. The finalists are both from Team Pulver: Nate and Manny. So, no matter who wins now, it will be a Team Pulver guy that wins it all. So, I think that seals the deal on who was the better coach and who had the better team.
Pitbull posted and said, "...had Grey had a better gas tank, he could've won that fight." That seems to point out that Penn did not properly prepare his guys for the cardio and conditioning aspect of the fight. Most of the fights had a note of that in them.
Even Joe Lauzon seemed unprepared for Manny's power and stamina.
It seems to me that Pulver had his guys more than ready for almost every fight. Some kudos should go out to Jens Pulver for running a good team in spite of all the Penn antics and stuff.

You are the MMA equivalent of Anne Coulter. Real objective analysis, as usual.
