That could be true. I don't recall Serra doing that for the other fighters that lost. It just strikes me that Serra seems bent on disrespecting Hughes at every turn. And, contrast Serra's action with what Hughes said during the Danzig situation and it seems like you have it wrong. Hughes wanted the fighters to fight using the gameplan that they set forth. Paul (and others) seemed to have not done that. I thought Paul fought a good fight, and would have won had he followed the gameplan and avoided the stand-up fighting.

Yup, the guy was knocked out and just lost his cuz...so I think someone had to give him some words of encouragement.

How do we know that Hughes did not do that? We have already seen from the blogs from the fighters and interviews with Hughes that a lot of what we have seen so far has been misrepresented. A lot is not even shown. IMO, Serra should worry about his fighters and leave Team Hughes to Matt Hughes.

True, we don't know what really happens with anything. Maybe Hughes was very supportive of Paul after the fight. Maybe Hughes was not really mad at Whitehead after he lost in the other TUF. We don't know.

Either way, I don't see anything wrong with Serra going over and talking to the guy and trying to make him feel better.

Exactly.

Seems like it's the same thing with both Serra and Hughes... whatever they do, there's always someone whining about how inappropriate it was.
"How dare he be a nice guy to someone from Team Hughes? Grr...makes me so mad"

LOL. Jump on bandwagons much?

Matt Serra has provided plenty of ammunition regarding his actions and what he says. It's not like he fails to say "dick" or "cock" and "head" as often as he can with regards to Matt Hughes. Right? He says "dick" so often that I have lost count. My friend cannot let his kid watch the show anymore because of Matt Serra and his mouth.

anymore?

So your friend is okay with letting his kid watch Dana White but not Serra? That's weird.

And this has to do with you whining about him saying a few nice words to Paul how exactly?
You just proved my point. You hate on Serra, so pretty much ANYTHING he does, you have a problem with it.

PS. Dick dick dick dick dick dick.

Dana White gets *BLEEPED*

Have they bleeped even one instance of Serra saying "dick"?

Did they bleep the word "cock" and "head"? No, they wrote it across the screen!

Oh, you know what I mean -- perfectly well.

Serra just jumps in and starts talking to Paul before Hughes can even get near him.

Oh, and why didn't you post links to threads where I put a real hate on for Serra? That's because I liked Matt Serra going ALL the way back to 1999 when I used to watch ISKA Kickboxing and they would have Jui-Jitsu matches on their shows. Matt Serra was kind of like a regular on the shows back then. And, I still like Serra now. He's just going too far with his hatred for Matt Hughes. It's an obsession for him now. I think that it will hurt him in the long run. Like with Frank Trigg and Hughes.

And, say dick all you like. It does not bother me. I said it bothered my friend. He liked watching TUF with his son (who is only ten). Now he can't do that because of Serra saying "dick" all the time.

I've always wondered if words being bleeped even matters.
Don't kids know what they're bleeping out?

So he's not watching with his kid because of word "dick". OK, that's his business.

Wait a minute...you don't know if Serra jumped in before Hughes could get close.

No, I don't really.
IF you were referring to the fact that I agreed with someone, then I guess we're all "jumping on bandwagons" all the time.
But then again, if I had disagreed with him, I would have jumped on another bandwagon, I suppose.

Yeah, you got me there.

OK.
A few posts earlier you were telling everyone "how we don't know what happened", because they can edit the show like crazy and we'll never know blah blah blah.
But NOW, all of a sudden, you seem to know that Serra started talking before Hughes got near him.
LMAO. Keep proving my point, sub.

Meh, I don't care about your life story. I just think it's clear at this point that you like criticizing him for the slightest thing. Like a true hater.
You used to adore Fedor too. And now you hate him like he's BJ or something.

So, I guess my point is...you're a flip flopper and a hater. No diggedy.

OK, one more for the road... dick.

He can't do that? Sure he could. I would.

PS. I think bleeping the words "cock" and "head" would be going a bit far.
In fact, I disagree with bleeping altogether.

This is a head...

No need for censoring.

This is me and my huge cock...

Same.

I watched it again, and you're right. The editing seemed awkward. Hughes was talking to Paul and Serra stepped in and spoke to Paul. Maybe Hughes was done talking. We did not hear everything that was said. I mean, for all we know, Hughes might have agreed with Serra. But, they did not edit it that way. I guess with all of Serra's hate on Hughes it just seemed wierd that he would step in and act like a coach to Paul.

I don't hate Fedor. I don't hate Serra. I hate their actions of late. Fedor and his avoiding the UFC. Serra and his constant hate on Hughes. Now, since many of the posters here hate Hughes (I am not among them), then they think that it's cool to hate Hughes. So, they let Serra's BS slide. All I see is Serra being the "dick" on this show.

But, don't get me wrong. Serra is among the best coaches in MMA. He's a brilliant Jui-Jitsu teacher and practioner. He's a great MMA fighter. He's also the UFC world WW champion. But, when Hughes tried to be friendly with him on the first episode, Serra became that "dick" that he claimed Hughes had been. And, Serra has driven that home.

And, unlike you, I form my own opinions. And, opinions can be fluid. They can change. It's not a static thing that never changes. Why you act like it is just seems confusing. Maybe if you formed your own opinions, then you would understand better.

So who am I stealing my opinions from then?

First you claim Pitbull changes his opinion because he's afraid to disagree with me (something retarded like that) .
And now you claim I'm not forming my own opinions.

Is that your automatic defense strategy or something?
Oh noes, someone just called me out on my biased BS... better tell him that at least I form my own opinions.
Phew.

LOL, whatever.
You have nothing at all to back up that claim of yours.
Whereas your own quotes back up my points about you.
It's fun having you around, sub.

That episode made Mac look like an ass, and I agree. I missed the Bowman part, but on the commercial he seemed like a complete idiot. Blake has tthe heart to step in the and give it his best, an effort that should never be condemned. I felt bad for the guy whos cousin died then he got Ko'd pretty bad.

Not letting your kids watch because bad words are said? Might as well not let him go to school either. FAR worse language is used there.
