The heat is off for Jared Rollins, aka J-Rock, aka the fighter with the Mr. T-Mohawk counterbalanced by a childlike and gentle voice. Rollins is now a household name to MMA fans, but since the sixth season of “The Ultimate Fighter” began airing in September, Rollins had been under assault.

“People were hitting me up like they know me and asking me what happened on the show,” he said. “When I said I couldn’t tell them, they’d look at me like I was crazy. It was bad. Literally. They didn’t understand that I was bound by contract. If I said anything there would be severe penalties.

“I think [Zuffa and Spike TV] would cut off my hands and feet. It’s something terrible.”

His fight episode aired on Halloween. Rollins lost to George Sotiropoulos via referee stoppage.

“It sucks that I lost,” Rollins laughed. “People will say, ‘You were holding out for THAT?’”

I like Jrock to. He has a lot of potential. I don't think Rollins is a household name yet though lol.

When I hear "Rollins", I think of Henry.

Also, I don't understand the crying show he put on after the fight. That and tossing the chair which almost hit one of his team mates.

Not a huge fan of him or really anyone on TUF 6 so far. Hopefully we will get some good fights in the semi's.

not to be a dick, but you probably dont fight (or any other competitive sport...**** i cried and punched walls when i didnt throw shotput very well)

I have fought/trained (kickboxing) for a few years, played semi-pro rugby league for half my life, state level cricket for years, and club level soccer for years. I've taken ass whoppings, and bitter defeats, and no I didn't cry. To me it's a sign of no self control and therefor a weakness.
