Damn! I forgot to ask afterwards, since I was laughing too hard... Who was it that won their preliminary fight and celebrated by jumping up the cage wall to sit on it for a second or two before jumping off and falling on his ass?

Its interesting. As I've browsed across the various reviews, some liked the commentating by White and company during the fights. Some absolutely hated it. I found it pretty amusing.
The concept of having everyone fight to get into the house is as good as advertised. I loved it.
If I remember right, Mike Dolce was offered a very good extension to stay with the IFL, but he thought the opportunity in TUF was too good to pass up. He may be right.
|
If he had lost, LOL, then he would have been screwed. Not really. Dolce is good enough to find a promotion to promote him. He might have just as easliy ended up back in the IFL. I think that Dolce will be one of the last guys in the competition on the show at the Finale.

That was the best episode I've seen. I will ask this. Rampage is a serious stoner. Wow. Weed anyone? Sorry, but his speech isn't just his style. The cabbage is helping him with his laid back style! Classic. I love it!

Issue with Cale
Cale Yarbrough, Forrest's friend (although I'm not saying conspiracy), got a win he basically didn't deserve. I agree, his opponent should have been ready to cut the weight, etc. But, Yarbrough was getting manhandled throughout the fight until the other guy gassed.
Like I said, I understand that the other guy should have been ready to compete, but I see it as a failing of the entire system (although a minor one) that Yarbrough even gets to go through to the 16.
Other than that, I like Amir, 'Page/Forrest are great and hopefully Paul Bradley won't LnP his way to the finals. Dana looked pissed after that fight, lol.
Also, I swear that CB Dollaway looks like Kalib Starnes from certain angles.

That really doesn't make a difference. I think that Nate Diaz gets manhandled in nearly every fight he's in... yet he always wins.
I'm sure that John Clarke has seen TUF before. He should have known that an early fight was possible, even if there were only 16 guys and he had an automatic spot in the house. Showing up 17 pounds heavy for a competition like this is NOT a good excuse. If he was gassed because of it, it's his own fault. I don't fault Yarbrough for his opponent's bad judgement.

CB Dollaway is my pick to win the whole thing, I liked Jermiah Riggs and the "Mind your business" guy though.

I agree with your pick of C.B. Dollaway. We didn't get to see much of his fight, but just the way they talked about it sounded like he completely dominated. But before he's my pick to win it, I want to see the other 8 fighters who make it to the house.

Jeremiah is gonna be a beast I can just tell. That's why I picked him, just get into the house and was already in it to win it, when he said "They could of told me I had to fight in an hour" I knew he had the mindset to possibly win this, hope he has the skill too.

I like the fight to get into the house thing. It makes it alot more interesting. I like Forrest and Rampage and White talking during the fights also. Its interesting to watch them and listen to what they are saying during the fights. I think I will actually watch this season of Tuf.

Yeah the commentary was excellent. Something you just aren't going to hear anywhere else. Forrest is kind of quiet I'd say. I still say though.....WEED!
Um, what did Forrest say about naked dudes?

Pretty sure that was just his awkward response to all 32 guys lying around the training center in their boxers after cutting weight to fight that day. It was a sarcastic comment, something like "A bunch of naked dudes. Fantastic".
