Am I the only one who was disturbed by the punches to an obviously KO'd opponent? I could see the first one maybe but he nailed him 3 times.. hard.
Also, I was a bit shocked that they chose to show it so much as well. Not a good introduction to the sport for newbs, unless they are meatheads.

That bothered me a little too but in the heat of battle coupled with trying to make sure you accomplish your goal of winning so you can stay around...

What would've been nice is if Dana would've went over to talk to him about that particular thing (and put that on air)...rather than just giving the thumbs up, great fight kid thing.

in the real world, the boss doesn't walk up to you when you do a good job. He just expects it the same way every time after that.

As usual, most of the comments left by the guys on YouTube are completely uninformed and in a lot of ways disrespectful. I don't think most of them realize how much damage was done to the guy by those punches.

I don't think Matt Brown will win this season, but I think he could be a very good Welterweight.

****spoiler****

Also looks like they might be kicking someone out of the house in Ep. 3. I hope they bring back Jeremiah Riggs, but I'll understand why if they don't, there are a lot of guys who are better than he is who lost.

I think Dana wants Jermiah in the house, you can tell that dude is a personality and all they did was praise him during and after his fight.

It showed :

- Fights i nthe house

I've had fighters snore, fight, and say crazy things in the few seconds after a KO, but never anything like that. I did have one that was still kinda "out of it" a couple days later.

It's in the preview now, and you could catch it on the previews online, but on the "This season on the ultimate fighter" deal, they didn't talk about kicking someone out in ep. 3, so I played it safe

Yep, he'd be great to have in the house, and I think he's got a lot of talent, so I'd love to see him get a shot to get some real training, and even if he doesn't win, he'd still get to train in the house till the season was over and get some exposure.

Having said that, he's not as skilled as some of the other guys, so it'd be controversial to bring him back, simply because there are other guys who are simply better fighters at this point. You'd be bringing him in on personality and potential, and that tends to ruffle some viewer's feathers, as they want simply the best fighters in the house.

At this early stage I'm going to pick Nick Klein to be the dark horse to make it to the finals. He looks to be the most mentaly strong even though he is one of the youngest.

i agree, i actually thought it was diabolical refereeing. as soon as the ko punch hit the guy was clearly out and shouldnt have been touched when he hit the floor but herb dean allowed 3 clean shots (which i think did most of the damage) before he stopped the fight.

I actually think that is why Jeremiah should be the one brought back, he is young and definately would gain the most from training with either Forrest or Rampage.

While watching him take all that punishment, I was thinking, "Hey, they finally found someone who can stand with Anderson Silva!"
