That's exactly what I would do. Given the opportunity to be an ambassador to my sport, I would do just the opposite. I would get sloppy drunk and kick walls, throw furniture, pick fights and raise all sorts of hell! We'll get the producers on board so we can target a larger audience. I would want the whole world to see me in all my angst ridden glory!

It's the coolest thing to do.

They trashing the house again? I love MMA, the fights and the training but not the drama. Its the complete lack of control that some fighters have that amazes me. Its also the number one complaint that traditional martial artists have on MMA fighters. That its all about the physical aspect, the fights and the training. Somewhere they lost the mental discipline practiced in the traditional arts.

Yeah, it's lame and old.

Honestly, none of this trashing the house stuff happened until that first season when Leben busted that door up. But he did that because h e was mad at the other guys picking on him, so it's either them or the door. I'd have picked the door too rather than get kicked out of the house.

Then, for some reason season after season, there's at least one house trashing episode which is totally dumb for such a beautiful house

Yea, I saw in the upcoming previews there was a scene with them trashing the house.....again. : / Some of these guys are in their 30's too lol. I'll bet you anything that the producers are behind it. "Hey Bob, go over there and dump hot water on John while he's sleeping. Maybe he'll take a couple of swings at you! It'll be good for ratings!"

It's getting pretty ri-freakin-diculous with the shenanigans!

They have to still stay there. You would think they would like to stay in a nice clean house, but obviously not. My saying is if you would not do it to yours then why would you do it to someone else's.

Wouldn't it be hilarious if somewhere in the contracts they sign to be on the show, there is a clause stating that any damage caused to property will be deducted from future possible paychecks given by Zuffa.

I bet you half of these fighters didn't read the contract when it was handed to them.

In all actuality, the producers probably want as much action/drama as they can possibly get. Why else give out free booze?

Still, it would be hilarious to me.
