TUF 7: Finale (main event just confirmed)
I know this is a bit preemptive (though as long as it doesn't get locked, I'll still take pride knowing that I made the thread first ), but it looks like the main event is gonna be Tanner vs. Grove. Someone made a thread about that fight in the UFC forum a while back, but I don't remember if it had been confirmed for this event or not... it seemed like it was just a fight that was all-but-confirmed without an event to showcase it. Anyways, I just happened to stumble upon the article at UFC.com, it being the most recent one...

Do or die for both of them.

MMA on TAP reports Diego Sanchez vs Luigi Fioravanti will be the main event for TUF 7 Finale. Either way, I'd like to watch both fights whether they're touted as "main events" or not.

I gotta go with Tanner on this one although you never know. I definitely wouldn't wager money on this one.

I'm putting 200 on Tanner. I hope I am right.

I don't see the logic of the fight.
I mean I dont know about you. but if I were TUF winner? I'd want to always fight.
I think Nate Diaz thus far other than Forrest Griffin is doing it right.
Both of them want to fight tougher competition to further their careers.
Guys like Kendall Grove have been mediocre to lukewarm in their fighting career as TUF winners.
Evan Tanner is just trying to resurrect his career after personal turmoil which I respect more than a Grove who seems not to care about his fighting career.
The Nate Diaz's, the Forrest Griffins, have fought and fought and beaten guys better than them.
And are deserving and have deserved their shot.

Its good to see tanner fighting. It always fun to see him. He's one of my favorites. I hope he goes stand up for the most of the fight, I would like to see that but a good ground and pound would be cool too. Not to discredit Nate diaz but I hope tanner's fight doesn't end up like Diaz and aka "Fat man" fight. At the moment I forgot the fighters name.
