Default TUF 7: Episode 6

Once again, thanks to Gygax, betting is still open for this:
vBookie Event - TUF 7 Winner - Click Here To Place Bets
As of now, "This event will accept bets until 05-07-2008 at 09:00 PM"

Gygax, will this be open all season long with updated odds?

According to the UFC site
The Ultimate Fighter® Team Rampage vs Team Forrest Episode 6 "Piece of Meat"
Both teams are rooting for Matt Brown to beat down Jeremy May. And everyone is shocked when two nice guys transform into savages in the Octagon.

We're told there will be two great fights.

Damnit Jeremy! You were my #1 pick! Sure, you got knocked out in a cool way, but I was really hoping for you to put Brown away... The only good thing that came out of that was seeing Forrest get livid with Brown's lack of aggression (which they showed after the fight). Also, Riddle's ridiculous skip rope technique. Oh, and Credeur's rant about Jeremy while he was walking down the staircase.

*edit* Rampage's reaction to Cramer winning was pretty funny too - he just couldn't stop talking. Then all of a sudden he pauses and gets all serious - "Best fight I've seen in a long time".

Ahhahahahahaha.... I was so happy to see Jeremy get his goofy ass kicked. I have zero respect for guys who fake frigging injury because "I gott do thangs ma way", meaning "I don't wanna train hard like everyone else." Same garbage that "Track Star" Kalib Starnes pulled when he was on TUF. And we see how that turned out.

Jeremy May joins Starnes and Gabe Rudiger in my TUF Hall of Shame.

Frat boy has a heckuva chin, and hits pretty hard too. But better Cardio plus a superior chin is what won this fight for him. C'Mon Lutter, take some freaking notes here! CARDIO CARDIO CARDIO!

That was a beautiful KO from Brown.

And Rampage was right about Mr. Abercrombie.
He sure can take a lickin' and keep on tickin'.
I don't see either of those guys going past the quarters though.

The stats were confusing again. Brown was supposedly 6'0" (on Sherdog he's 5'7"), and May was 6'4". Really? The AC should just officially get the stats for every fighter imo. How the hell does Matt Brown have a Liddell-esque reach?

And first May says he's been exaggerating with the knee to "pace himself" and after the fight uses the knee as an excuse? I don't think that can be explained with creative editing either.
Finally some drama in the next episode! You know you wanna see it.

I guess not man. He fought a good fight. Last night's show was good. Brown's KO was sick too.

That might be in my top 2 TUF KO's, alongside Cummo/Morgan and George/Tommy from last season.

Good episode, this season has been horribly boring so far so it was good to see a good fight.

Forgot to add that Jeremy May might have the worst technique stand up wise I have ever seen. He should be the definition of "wild loopy punches"

Notice that May was kind of a punk too at the end and didnt shake Brown's hand.

Unsportsmanlike conduct and glad he lost. MMA doesent need guys with that kind of attitude.

I liked that Cramer dude. The only thing that stuck out to me was that he was from American Top Team and I knew if you give him time? He's gonna pull out a W. That and he's 3-0.

Those dudes are tough there.

yea i was really surprised when rampage was sayin he was throwing good punches and messing mack up

especially with the technical striking rampage possesses

mack brown was fighting a good patient fight, i am personally glad he wasnt aggressive he couldah got sucked into a lesser skilled fighter realm and lost

it was funny how jeremey swung and just fell to the ground near the end, and macks kick lifted him higher than houstons uppercut did jardine

I don’t like the attitude of some of the fans who always like to complain. When they say if you had a quick fight that they wished it was longer and if you have a long fight they say you should have beaten this guy quicker. Some people you just can’t please. If it is so easy, they can put on a glove and do it themselves. I’ll watch them fight.

What can Brown do for you? The knee followed by that KO kick to the face was pretty impressive. Jeremy Jitsu didn't prepare as much as he should have. Good...maybe he learned a lesson. I doubt it though.

Zack v. Abercrombie was a fun fight to watch but yeah, I don't see any of them going very far.

Daniel Cramer was hella impressive, good chin and just kept throwing, good fight and Jeremy May is just a retard plain and simple.

That was Amir

And I wish May had put more effort into training for that fight... He showed more technical striking in his prelim than he did in that fight. I think if he actually focuses on training, he could come back and beat guys like Herman, Grove and Leben.

Oh my lord.... Leben would KILL Jeremy May. And Herman and Grove would beat him soundly.....

I don't think he could even punch hard enough to hurt Leben, and I think the other two would beat him easily as well. I mean did you see his stellar ground game where he just let Matt Brown pass to side control and mount at will.
