Holy crap. Diego and Diaz were amazing. Props to Sanchez. He pulled it off and he is deserving of the hype he gets. That was a freaking war and it was as incredible as I imagined, my stomach was churning the whole time. Even if Diaz would have won Diego would still be okay in my books.
I just had to make it be known since I said I would eat my words if Diego won.

Hahahahah. Wait no he didn't. Diaz talked crap for sure, but it's not like Diego came out unscathed or got choked out.

That whole fight was like a chess match, and no matter what nick did, diego was always 1-step ahead. Like it or not, diego made nick diaz his b*tch everytime it went to the ground(which 95% of the match was ground) and DOMINATED.

Yeah I watched the fight. Do you not remember Nick taking Diego down, avoiding every submission attempt and reversals. All I'm saying is that the fight was amazing and Diaz did not "pull a Trigg" I remember Diego getting opened wide and getting rocked pretty hard. Maybe I was watching a different fight. I've given props to Diego already so it's not like I'm trying to argue that Diaz didn't get beat.
On a side note: I think Diego punched the mat as many times as he hit Nick. Should probably work on his accuracy before he breaks his hand.

Couldn't have said it better my self. It was a great ground war. And they were evenly matched on the ground but Diego was able to get on top and prevent Diaz from getting it up so he could punch Diego.
Diego did a great job at fighting his game.

According to MMA Weekly and Sherdog
Jardine by Leg Kicks in the 2nd round
Guillard by Stoppage (Cut)
Burkman by KO (Slam @ :21 of the first round)
That's what I've read so far.
Hopefully they'll show on Unleashed this Mon or something!

That really fit. Luke being called the Jedi for most of the show and Joe with the nickname Daddy. That was a good one.

impressed
Luke is the man. I can't wait to see this guy in a couple years. You know he is going to train twice as hard now. He could beat most of the fighters in the UFC now. I can't even imagine how great he will be, especially after he receives the respect he deserves. It would be nice to see one of the greats take Luke under their wing.
Joe is awesome. This guy is ridiculous. No one should be that good or strong.
I really think that we are looking at two future champions.
Rashad impressed me again. Although, I think fighting that giant didn't really let him shine.
Brad doesn't impress me yet. I'm sure he will in the future. If he continues to apply his self he will be good. With the little training he has had, he did an awesome job. With his speed, strength, and size he would be a great match for AA (after he trains a lot more).

No doubt. You said it well my friend. Luke and Joe are going to be the future of the WW division. Rashad continues to impress me every time I see him fight. What you said about him fighting a giant was dead on. He out striked a guy who had more than an advantage on striking and did not let the size difference intimidate him. He is also going to be a force. Brad just seems to not be ready for the big time yet. He is good considering he has only been training for little over a year. He will continue to improve then once he gets the skills then the size advantage will definitely come into play. I will always be rooting for Brad as he would be a hometown hero for me.

Luke Cummo was ready to go FIVE round last night. Joe was losing gas fast. He was happy that the fight was only a three round fight, because round four and round five would have been awesomely in the advantage of Luke Skywalker. He tagged Joe hard in the beginning of the second round after that vicious mauling from Joe in the first round. Right from that first hard shot from Luke to Joe it was clear that Joe's gas tank was running low. Joe also exhausted a lot of energy trying to put Luke in submission holds. You could see Joe's physical exhaustion.
When they announced that Joe had won, it also seemed clear that Luke was still ready to fight while Joe was very tired... I guess my point is that Luke will come back and really make a name for himself in the UFC. When it comes time for a title shot, then Luke will be seriously ready...

Rashad said something about dropping down to LHW and letting the HW class go to big guys like Brad. They both really fought hard. I hope we see Brad back...

I hope we see Brad back as well. He improved alot after a very short time of training. I was impressed. If he keeps working at it he will be a force at HW. He's not just a big guy. He's a big athlete. I think we will see him back.
