TUF - Season 3 - Episode 8
I don't remember any previews with a fight in it. All I remember seeing is drama and practice. Not even one snap shot of them in the ring. If there isn't a fight, I'm going to hunt Dana down and step on his neck. Especially since my Tivo broke and I have to stay up to watch it.
I would love it if Danny rocked Ed just once. Even if it ended up that Danny lost, atleast it could shut up Ed for the 2 seconds that he couldn't remember his name. I really, really want to see that guy get knocked out. I have never seen anyone more deserving since Tito got KO'ed by Chuck.

I couldn't believe how Danny just handed his arm over to Ed. Oh well, as long as Ed doesn't win the whole thing.

I hated to see Ed win but to be honest we learned a lot about Danny tonight as well. He seems like he'd annoy the piss out of me if I had to live with him for 6 weeks. One of those guys that get on your nerves easily. Danny wasn't impressive at all and I was suprised that he basically acted like he won the fight afterwards. braggin about how tough he was.

Well said. He too showed how immature he is also. Still, I wish he'd knocked that carrot topped pinhead out. Dang, is that guy irritating or what? Danny's bragging after the fight...lol...his interpretation of that fight was way out in left field somewhere. Wow. If all you have to do is hit somebody with one good shot then get pounded into oblivion, to be in the UFC. I'm quitting my job and signing papers with the UFC tomorrow.

I'm seeing the "Rashad Evans" syndrom here.
Ed may have won, but the guy he fought SUCKED. I could tell early on the way Danny was behaving like such a prissey boy in the training room, complaining about this and that, that he was not tough enough to take on Ed. When it came to the fight itself this was blindly obvious, as danny had Zero ground game.
I don't think Ed has proved he is worth a crap either just yet. When he beats more formidable guys then that'll show it, but not now. And i'm suprised it took him THAT long to beat somebody like Danny.
Like ortiz said, Ed looked alright but seemed to have serious holes and ringrust in his game. Maybe Ed just had not fought in a while...or it could be the LOUSEY training on shammy's team had softened his abilitys somewhat.

I'm happy Ed won the fight. I'd rather see him win then somebody who would get ------- killed in the next round. A punchers chance will only get you so far. An Ed's more then capable of beating anybody in his class on the show.

I think Ed will make the finals, he didn't have a fight 4 months before the show so a little ring rust is expected and since when is a 1st round submission a bad showing! I think he had a pretty good fight and didn't look as bad as Tito said after the fight! Ed has the most impressive resume of the fighters with wins over Nick "The Goat" Thompson and Dave Menne.

For some reason this episode made me like Ed more (just saw it on Monday), perhaps it was the fact that he showed some respect towards Danny, or perhaps it was because Danny was 10x more annoying and I was glad to see him tap, I'm not sure.

I like Ed, he's a good fighter, has a little bit of an attitude, and is confident in his abilities! I'd really like to see him at least make the finals.

i think this is the most talented TUF ever, i can see many stars from both divisions in the organisation.
Kendell grove, Kalib and ED will make it, Bisping and Matt will also cut it, not only make it but be successful.
so many stars from TUF fail to make an impact and become the whipping boys of the UFC, obviously excluding a minority, these guiys in TUF4 will make an impact im sure.
see below... ha ha he better improve

I am really enjoying this season so far, and I agree the talent is there.
I'm a big fan of Matt because of his wrestling background, but I think Bisping is going to whip that rear end if they meet. I'm hoping they meet in the finals. Bisping is deadly...
I can't stand Kalib, and I would like to see either Ed or Kendall KO him in the finale.

So far the only guy on shammy's team that seems worth a crap is Ed. Its like shamrock based his choices on how many tattoos a guy had.
Ken: "Duh hey that guy has all those tattoos, and guys with tattoos are badasses by default. He's champ material. duh"
Tito seems to know what he is doing. If a guy has more tattoos than fight wins, or just more tattoos than actual fights, DO NOT pick that idiot.

I think you're seriously understimating Kalib. He's the #2 ranked MW in Canada, with a record of 6-0-1 in MMA. I'm picking him to go all the way in this series.
