TUF 4 Episode 4 "The Funk"

A fighter breaks the rules and is punished. A contagious skin infection spreads through the house. And the second middleweight elimination bout takes place.
I wonder if that disease affects your performance or if it looks worse than it is. Any ideas who the 2 middleweights will be? Maybe Scott Smith I think he will do well.

I don't see what the big deal is about hopping the fence - I guess Dana didn't think he had a choice but to make an example of him.

What was funny is that he was talking about pulling his life together and getting back up and in shape and making money, and how grateful he was for being on the show... and then he sneaks out and violates the rules? Come on man.

Yea, on second thought it was a shortsided thing to do. When they first showed all the staph stuff I thought they all got the crabs, and then figured it must have been this guy who brought the crabs back from his rendevous.

You think that a guy with everything to lose wouldn't mess up like he did. The whole thing was pretty idiotic.
Very anticlimatic fight. I've come to realize if there is only 5 mins left of the show and the fight is just starting, someone is gonna lose quickly.

Yeah, Scott gassed before the fight even started. 
I realized the same thing with the timing. When the Dewees fight started there was 15 minutes left so I knew what was gonna happen. I need to take off my watch before I sit down. |

I swear this is the first time I've looked at the clock in all three seasons. I did it because you idiots told me about it. I thought there was like 20 minutes left and I looked at the time and the show was almost over. I figured someone was getting KO'ed with the way they were talking about previous knockouts.

Oh man! I was *HAPPY* to see that IDIOT get sent home.
#1. Clearly he was'ent as serious as he claimed to be, casually violating rules like that. I guess he thought he was too "smooth" to get caught or something, c'mon! I'd think the fighters would ALL know by now that there ARE CAMERAS all over the place!
#2. It also shows SERIOUS disrespect for the other fighters. Yeah being stuck in a house 24/7 with nothing but the same dudes can be kinda crappy after a while, but all of them know that. However, they deal with it and make the sacrifices necessary to be there. Keyword: Sacrifice. He was disrespectful to the guys, to dana, UFC, etc. No way should he have been allowed to get away with that B.S, he DESERVED to pay the price for his actions and get taken off the show.
Thumbs up to Dana for making that decision without hesitation. |
