Serra doen't bother me that much. Probably because of my wrestling. When you're in a match you usually have half your team lined up on one side of the mat screaming instructions at the top of their lungs.

He is a coach.. thats what they do during fights. Your corner yells and helps you in your fight giving advise and such. Thats what he has been doing with his time. So he is all ready in the role of coach on the show.
You just don't hear UFC corners in PPV or on Spike due to sound of the fans.

I totally agree. You many not like his voice but if you rewatch all the fights the fighters are more than happy to hear his advice, often times looking over at him while on the ground. Many of the wins I believe are due to his great cornering.

Very good assumption. I never even thought about that but I bet you are right.

I'll be honest, I like Serra alot. I'm from Jersey originally so he reminds me of my friends back home. Not only that, but he's intelligent, he gives nearly flawless instruction from the corner, and he's not afraid to speak his mind (i.e. his opinion of Matt Hughes which I think is dead on.) As long as Shonie doesn't catch him with another spinning backfist, he's my favorite to win the show.

Yea i never thought of that. It almost seems normal to me and i didn't understand why it bothered people. But it's probably because i'm used to it with wrestling. Good call sir.

I definitely agree with this. I wouldn't say anyone that has won wouldn't have won anyways(possibly Shonnie though). But his instructions have played a big part in team mojo's fighters taking advtange of their offense and keeping a tight defense. He also does great with pushing whoever is in the octagon to get that final takedown or flurry.

I would have been crushed if we somehow didn't get to see a Carter and Serra rematch.
