Its official: Pulver is one of the coaches of TUF 5

A lot of people have speculated that Jens Pulver and Penn are going to be the coaches for the upcoming TUF 5. Pulver confirmed that in an interview. It was a pretty good interview and its good to hear he's not down at all about losing his last fight.

To be clear, he only confirmed himself being a coach.

well one good thing about all 16 fighters being lightweights is that a vast majority of the fights will probably be good.

Rogan said last night that the second coach will be announced on Inside the UFC next week (Dec 21).

Wow, this is cool. I like Little Evil. But, you know what? If BJ Penn is the other coach, then this season will have two coaches that have lost once or twice recently. I wonder how that will play into the season, LOL.

Also, if Penn is the other coach, then that takes him out of the WW title picture for at least four months, maybe six. They have to film the episodes. And, they edit them and air them. Add in maybe a month or six weeks for the Finale. Penn may not fight until May.

I assume if he's the TUF 5 coach, then he'll have a rematch with Jens and then stay to fight as a LW for a while. All just my speculation though. No one's said what BJ's plans are, except that he still wants the WW belt (and the LW belt and the MW belt).
