Joe Lauzon's blog for episode 5, Godzilla Eats Thailand and Can't Make Weight.
Joe's obviously trying not to diss Gabe too much.

I like Lauzon to being with, but after reading the blogs I really hope he wins the competition.

Looking at Joe Lauzon's eyes, I see intelligence and determination. I think he has a big chance to advance to the final. The other 2 guys I think might make it there, and hope they do, are Winman, and Nate Diaz. I like these guys, not only they are decent fighters, but seem like good guys also. Not guys that like to brag, or stir up troubles in the house or go after some camera shootings.

So gabe had 3 colonics and he was still 178 when it was time to cut?! No wonder Desouza was all over him about the colonics and missing practice because he did it on 3 different occasions!

I just thought I'd highlight a couple of lines for all you BJ haters who say his team has been slacking off:
>> trained with B.J. Penn five hours a day for four weeks straight. My cardio and technique were much better come fight time, and I was super confident going into the fight.
>> I think B.J. was proud that I gave 100 percent. I listened to what he showed me in training, and went in there and used it in my fight. A lot of the things I did in the fight came directly from what we did in training — most notably the shot.

Great comments again from Joe. That was one of my questions I asked him in email what it felt like beating Jens and him being a coach in the house now I have that cleared up. Yeah he is right he for sure called his fight. The main thing I was waiting to read out of this blog was his thoughts on Emerson vs Hill. He said himself Emerson had it but also making a good point saying thats how it goes sometimes. Found it pretty amazing Joe himself thought Cory still had 8 or whatever fights before he watched last night.

Maybe if Emerson had heard that this was Hill's first fight he wouldn't have been so timid.

Yeah, if Emerson would have known he never fought a profession MMA fight...he probably would have scored at least 1 takedown to clinch the win.

Btw, Joe seems like a cool guy, but I think he definitely needs to work on his posing.

That's not good.

Yeah, definitely the best one yet. Joe seems to get more and more willing to tell it like it is each week without pulling any punches.

"Street Fights. Marlon had a million stories on street fights and how he would face seven guys at once and would beat them all and would never be hurt. Now if this were true, he would have to be fighting hordes of 5-year-olds. Unfortunately for him, he was talking grown adults. To have 300 or more street fights and not once get hit with a blind shot, or have someone pull a gun or knife? I am calling BS on this one too."

Awesome blog again.
I like it how he talks about all the off-camera stuff.
Gives more credibility to the pictures they painted of Wang and Sims.
And I hope Sims reads that blog and realizes what a clown he was on the show.

There are two characters on both teams, one is Sims and the other is Wang, oh I take that back now cause Wang is on Pulver's team.
In the show, I still don't see much of BJ's training sessions which I would like to see if Dana's accusations are right about his team is not doing cardio etc.

These blogs are great. I'm glad they carried this over from last season. It also adds to my belief that Joe is in the finals.
