Week 2. I was hoping for more insight. This is just a recap.

It was interesting to see Lauzon blame it on Ruediger.
I agree with him definitely, but I expected him to be diplomatic there.

Btw, Joe seems like a cool guy, but I think he definitely needs to work on his posing.

That's not good.

Week 3

Another good article by Joe. Reading his thoughts is really making me respect and root for him more and more. The week he fights will be a very interesting read, win or lose.

He's hammering Ruediger again in this article. Could it be a sign of a rivalry from a fight on the show, or is it simple dislike, like seemingly everyone else in the house feels about Gabe?

This was a better blog. At least Joe committed some opinions this time, instead of just recounting events.

I think Joe's opinion of Ruediger mirrors what everyone else is thinking. Gabe didn't look too happy when he came out of the treatment. I imagine he's in for a lot of dissing because of it, in the house and among fans.

I think its a very tough blog to write. At the risk of a major lawsuit, he cannot give away anything that happens later in the show. I'm sure there's plenty of temptation to write "just wait, Gabe gets his ass kicked but good". But he obviously can't do that. I'm sure there is tons that he want to say, he just can't.

I agree, Joe comes across very well in this blog. Sometimes getting to know a fighter can go either way, you can like him more or less. Jens for example I'm liking less.

OTOH I can sometimes enjoy a fighter's personality, interviews etc, but not respect him that much. For example, I get a kick out of Nick Diaz. I root for him, I like watching him in the ring and out, but I don't respect him that much as a person and I wouldn't want to hang with him. Joe I definitely like AND respect. He seems respectful, serious, level-headed, humble and a nice guy.

Interesting. Gabe was pushing Emerson to fight Diaz.
And then the "I can fight Weems"-talk.

I wonder if Lauzon will start showing a stronger dislike for Gabe on the show, cause these blogs really show he doesn't like the guy.

Good article....I agree with Joe with what he said "Andy chose to swim upstream instead of down — the path of least resistance is the one he should have taken"

I just started reading this series at #1 right now, and Weems is a Miletich fighter?!? Wow -- that really puts an additional spin on the way Jens was riding him this week.

My understanding is that Weems was a last minute replacement for someone else who had to drop out. He didn't try out for the show the way the other guys did. Dana was in a bind, Monte Cox recommended Weems and they took him. But I'm pretty sure I remember him fighting in the UFC at least once, right?

It's weird to me that Jens would be screaming at him about his inability to handle plyos when the dude trains with Miletich.

Not in the UFC. Maybe you're thinking of KOTC? Fight Finder - Wayne Weems's Mixed Martial Arts Statistics

Okay. It's just kind of a memorable name, and I thought I... remembered it.

I read that in a Jens Pulver Blog over at UFC.com. Thats what he stated in the blog. The show never spoke of it and also they never spoke of Jens fight with the kid from Penns team. Im sure they keep a few thing quite for the watching TV audience . There history amonst alot of them fighters. A few anyhow. It was like that on all the TUF shows.. WarDawg

I can't find Jens' blog at UFC.com.
