The absolute wailing was way overboard. In the ring, the walk back and in the prep room. It just didn't stop. Be emotional, but not that crazy. Before the fight he talked all about being a warrior regardless of outcome and that he wasn't in the competition to win the contract, but to simply be a warrior. I could see the wailing a little more if you were banking on winning to make something better for your family (like Josh Haines and his kid with the brain tumor), but not Wang's reasoning.

Its not the first time we've seen BJJ Black Bet who forsakes the ground to keep a fight standing. Watch any Jorge Gurgel fight and all you see is him throwing bombs. His classic fight against Jason Ireland is a great example. And Gurgel is a much more accomplished Black Belt than Wang, running his own academy with affiliates, and receiving his BB from Marcus Aurelio.

Randleman is another fighter who's notorious for throwing his gameplan out the window when the bell rings. I've heard it mentioned in a couple of interviews with fighters who train with him and corner him. At the worst possible time, he'll go into brawl mode and just swing for the fences instead of trying to take the guy down.

The worst part of him wailing like a newborn is we are going to be subjected to it again on the opening of the new episode.

He said a samurai goes down with an arrow in his chest not in his back. But I think he turned his back this time. Maybe he could come back later in his life but this time he looked like some bad brawler.
The wailing was to me like 'who are you trying to kid', he talked all this tacky stuff before going in as well which made it even worse. Impress people with your actions not your waffle.
