So I havent played video games in a good yr and a half, 2 yrs since my ps2 broke. Well with all the talk about the new UFC game coming out (I know it wont be out for another yr or so) it gave me an itch and I decided to go out and buy a PS3.....

My birthday is in 3 days so I figured I would get an early bday present...

Was only 499.99....compared to what it used to be.....

I bought NBA 2K7 for now.....I normally just play sports title games made by EA Sports.....but 2k Sports have dont a great job with this game.....

I got to say...PS3 is awesome....I am not much of a gamer anymore but I am very happy with the purchase......

Go out and get it folks!!

Nooo. When and if I buy a next-gen console, it'll be an xbox 360.

I already have a 360 and love it very much. I have no need for a ps3 right now.

Same here, i love my xbox, only thing stopping me getting a 360 right now is ea rugby is not coming out on it.

Yeahh I was looking at the 360...It was $200 cheaper but I have never really been a big xbox fan...I have always been into ps1, ps2, and now ps3....

Bah you should've gotten a 360! And the price on the 360 is supposed to be going down soon as well.

Trust me, they want to make the most money possible so this game will be out on all the systems.

Also, for those of you celebrating this $100 price drop for the PS3, you should know that Sony confirmed at E3 that it's only for the 60 gig PS3 because they're trying to get rid of them. Once they sell out, they won't make any more 60 gig models, and the other ones aren't going down in price for a good while.
