It really takes a whole lot of patience, you should use practice fights instead of sparring partners or whatever they are....I had a whole lot of luck going inside on guys that had a huge height advantage because, they can't get a really good shot on you. You just have to look at the situation it gives you in the plan builder, and kind of visualize yourself in the fight situation and what you would do, it has pretty much worked for me so far. You should also check out your opponents fight highlights, see how he fights, and make a plan to stand up to his style of fighting. I can tell you now that conditioning is one of the most important stats to build, there have been fights I started off losing in the first rounds, but because I was still not tired, and the opponent was exhausted, I wound up getting the KO or TKO. I have been using one plan for my first two fights on this fighter, and I have 2-0, I think it looks good for one more fight, then I think I will change it. Anyway, hope to meet some of you guys there, I am in Unsanctioned. Good luck to you all.
Tom

Unless you do it in the beginning, before your fight you need to set what to train, it will say your fighter is currently training whatever, you need to set it to strength speed, etc etc, I don't believe your chin can be changed after your initial stat setting. Then after your fight, you will gain the point if you win. Hope that helps.

Well, I can't get to the main link from work. Can someone explain exactly what this is and how it works?
I'm not a huge boxing fan, but it sounds pretty cool just by reading the posts in this topic.

Since Im a nooby at it this description might not be too accurate, you create a gym and a fighter and put the points into what you think is best like strength stamina chin etc and you keep sparring and testing different character builds then the system matches you up with someone to fight, thats as far as Ive gotten, maybe someone else can describe it better to you

Can you see any highlights of the fights, or is it purely simulation? It doesn't really matter, I'm just wondering how realistic this little game gets.
Thanks for the input so far.

It does play by play commontary to explain the fight. No grafics just words. But you have total control of your fighter as far as the set up wieght ex............. Even what tactic you choose to use in the fight.

I created a fighter last night, but I didn't get too detailed in making my game plan or anything. I just went with my regular name and threw in a nickname along the way.
Cody "Easy Money" Thrasher
Yeah, creative I know.

Yeah, you generally get a fight a week. When you first start up it's a little slow sometimes to get one scheduled for you. and 2-9 isnt too bad man, there's still hope for you.............i think lol

Yeah, I just got all my stuff entered in Wednesday night, and I have a fight scheduled for next Wednesday. I'm pumped!
I sparred once and got KOed in the 12th round. I was winded, so I decided to train on some conditioning. The fight was about even up the KO point. Hopefully, my conditioning will improve before the fight next Wednesday.
