27 I think after 10hrs of play time...not bad if I say so myself....I have 2 mates, 1 whos played 12hrs and the same lvl as me and 1 who has played 16hrs and is lvl 30.

I must be terrible then! I am a level 9 after just over 2 hours of playing. Same as the other COD'S, I was a slow starter then got much better.
Hopefully I will get to be really good at it like the other ones. If I don't,I'll just start saying the game is awful,lol.

Prestige is weird. You give up all your stuff? I'm at 38 right now and I haven't been offered it, but I think it's at a higher level on Xbox. I'm keeping all my stuff though.

I have had call of duty 4 for a while and just beat it. Once I began playing online and with all the choices and tasks, it was almost impossible to turn off. It is so addictive.
It is really fun game. I hope they have some downloads for levels pretty soon.

It is the same level, it's just you get to level 55 and they offer it to you. Then you start back at level 1 and lose everything....but you get a nice little icon beside your name haha

Level 1 prestige on left level 10 on the right.
If you turn prestige you get a new badge and thats about it, but it keeps the game interesting because you need to get weapons and do challenges again. Once you hit prestige level 10 you can have 2 weapon attachments (like silencer and scope or grenade launcher and scope).
If you dont turn prestige you can get golden weapons by doing a lot of challenges (like a golden AK47) at 55 you get a golden desert eagle.
