This is humiliating to admit but.... War Gods. Even more humiliating... I played as Vallah, the thong clad Viking vixen. I was good though!

I would have to say the original Fight Night.
I think Fight Night Round 2 turned into "who can throw haymakers better"
Also, Mortal Combat Deception was terrific. I loved being able to switch/combo into different fighting styles.

Yeah MK deception was sweet.
I like to play the old school games like Bad Dudes myself.
And Killer Instict rules.

I worked at Midway for a while on MK and got rather borred with it. I liked the old arcade MK's better.

It's a toss up between the old Mortal Kombat games(Sega) and the old Street Fighter games(also Sega)
In response to guile's post. Hmmm, judging by your name, I'm thinking you probably used either Ken or Blanka the most. So, am I right or what?

Fight Night Round 2 is my favorite by far. I like the old button mashers, but the whole total punch control, real fighter selection, and strategies involved in FNR2 make it the best.

Street Fighter II and DOA3
I gotta say something about SF2 its the game that got my into fighting I used Barlog because I only knew about boxing back then but I started to paick sagat to because he was tall like me and that got me into muay thai. It was funny because I used to mimic the moves just imagine some kid in that the park trying to learn how to do a flash kick in real life and land on his neck. I even got it on an emulator on the pc.
Best fighting game Hand to Hand as of now though
Dead or Alive 3 for XBOX (Bayman guy who uses Russain Martial arts got me into grappling and thats him in the pic)
That game has alot of control with the fighters you can mix and match your combos any way you like gameplay is very smooth. Check it out

LOL...I take it you don't use Flash Kicks anymore. Street Fighter II was the most fun I have had with a fighting game. All the friends would come over, all had their own character and we go really competitive. Ofcourse I would use the cheap sit back and flash kick or uppercut method when they come at me. good times

I gotta give Tekken 5 props. It looks great in 480p, and the controls are just as perfect as ever.

I have to go with either DOA:U or Street Fighter Alpha. I have the high score at a local university with Street Fighter Alpha with Chung Li

I have Tekken 5. Great game, but I like the old school Street Fighter.

He always whooped me, too. He was fast to the point of insanity. I saw a thing on TV about a blind kid that can get to, and then beat Tyson with just the sound!
