BioShock 2 Confirmed
The sequel (or will it be a prequel??) to blockbuster game Bioshock has been confirmed today in Take-Two Interactive's financial filing released today.
No details about the title have been revealed, but it is being developed at 2K Marin studio and is slated for a release sometime between August 1 and October 31, 2009.
Here's what the official statement said:
"2K Games said today that BioShock 2, the sequel to the wholly owned and internally developed title, is being developed by 2K Marin and is planned for release in the fourth quarter of fiscal 2009. The critically acclaimed BioShock title has sold over 2 million units worldwide since its launch in August."
Oh man i can't wait for this game to come out.

Did people really like Bioshock? I thought that was easily the most overrated game I have played in years. I beat it in 3 days and brought it back to Gamestop only to be mocked by the nerds who work there saying I am returning a "piece of art".
Im pretty certain being a virgin is a qualification you need to work at a video game store.

LMAO Judging by the kiddies who work in my local Game I reckon you're right mate!
I also thought Bioshock was slightly overrated. I managed to finish it in a weekend, which is probably the fastest Id ever completed anything save COD4, and while I enjoyed it a lot I think it was slightly overhyped. I also thought the ending was a little disappointing, it just left me wanting something more.

I swear to God I walked in one time to return Halo, only to be mocked by the Dragon Ball Z round table they had going on the counter.
"HOW ARE YOU RETURNING HALO!!!"
Sorry to take this offtopic. I agree with you thou, the ending was horrible.

I like BioShock and one of the best games I've played. I hope they will do
co-op in BioShock 2 and that would be fun.

I Never got into bioshock. I didn't like the combat and the 1st coded door I came to was the end for me. It was too much running backwards and forwards for my liking.
