I bought the game the day it came out. I got it for PS3, only problem... I haven't bought a PS3 yet. I guess I bought so I could convince the wife I needed a PS3 in order to play. Married man's logic.

Fun game but dont beat yourselves up about it, go fire up San Andreas.

San Andreas is way to cartoonish looking...I've enjoyed 4 a lot better....

GTA4 is by far the best game in the GTA series so far. Everything from the graphics to the gameplay to the story are all vastly improved over the previous GTA games. As much as I have enjoyed the previous GTA games, they don't even come close to how much I have been enjoying GTA4. I can't wait to see what Rockstar has planned for future GTA games on the PS3 and 360.

I don't play enough to go out and buy one of the new systems, but I did start playing San Andreas again because of the latest release. Great friggin game.

I got my copy from the UK yesterday. Man its pretty awsome and the online matches are great as well.

Well you guys convinced me... I broke down and finally bought a PS3 and also purshased GTA4. So far, I really like it. The biggest difference has been said before and that is the handling of the vehicles.

I am probably going to get this game for the ps3, except I've heard from numerous people that on the playstation it freezes on them a lot. Has anyone here had that problem?

Nahh man, I haven't had it freeze on me once...Granted I haven't tried online mode yet (maybe that's where people are expieriencing it) it has worked perfectly for me....

Ok, well that's good to hear. I played it yesterday, and now I'm addicted so I'll probably run out and get it in the next few days.

Edit: And by the way, do you have a 40GB, a 60, or an 80? Cause the people I talked to who said it froze, all had a 40gb one.

I've only had that problem occasionally and only online. I've heard that non-updated GTA 4 and PS3's can have more problems. You have to hook them up to the internet and download the updates for the system and the game.

I have the 40GB and I havent seen it freeze once, offline play or online. Also I have had mine online and updated it.

Yeah I just got this game last week and it hasn't froze on me yet, so I guess that was just a one time thing. Anyway maybe it would be better if it did freeze cause I have been playing it way too much since I got it.

I got the game last Sunday, anddd I pretty much didnt leave my couch until i beat it.

Fun ass game man. Highly recomended

I beat the game on Sunday, it was awesome. I am still only 84% or so done so I still have a lot of side missions and such to occupy my time. This would be my second favourite game of the year so far behind Metal Gear.

The story mode only accounts for about 60% of the game. I think i was on 63% when i completed it, obviously I havent done many of the extra missions lol.

Took me a while, but I finally have the game. I been reading reviews and I hear if you used cheats codes you can't achieve %100. What's up with that? I like my cheats lol, but I'm afriad to use them. Any one know what the dealy is with cheats codes and saving the game? I also hear it doesn't make a difference. Any personal experiances?

BTW the game is fun as hec. I love all the little details, like if you bump into a cop they come after you lol and if crash you fly thru the windshield. I do like the fact they kept the break away light posts.

I know you guys already have it and enjoyed it and what not, but how do feel after a few months of owning it. Is the replay factor any good? Thanks.

Just got to the third island lol. "Three leaf clover" was a pain in the ars. Such a tuff mission. I really love this game
