Free MMA sim game - Fight Forum - MMA - UFC - Boxing - K1

I have been thinking of doing a game for members of fight forum where you would create a group of MMA fighters and train them and every week or two there would be a "PPV" and the fighters would fight and all that other good stuff.

I would create a website (nothing fancy) to have everything on and it would be open to members of this forum only but if members of this forum had friends that would like to play just tell me and I would let them (or better yet they could just join the forums

).

The game would be nothing special you would just PM me your game plan (which I will explain later if there is enough interest) and I would run it through the sim engine (which I already have) and I would post the results.

There are still things I would have to work out for rules ect but I dont want to do that until I know there would be enough people wanting to play.

Stone Monkey Software made an MMA simulation game months/years back, you could use that for inspiration purposes. It featured real fighters but it was nothing more than a match simulator in all honesty.

I don't know whether any of those links are valid, but I believe download.com still has a mirror to it if your interested.

Sweet man. I can't wait.

I'm gonna train my fighters to kick grounded opponents, to hold the fence, and punch to the back of the head for easier victories.

Yeah, the punch was clean, but I'm just upset with him with the things he did right before and right after the punch.

Sorry Gritz, I don't mean to take away from your thread, I'm just gonna take a minute to vent about AA.

It seems as though training isn't his 1st priority anymore. I think he likes the clubs too much.

So having said that...I look forward to AA getting back on track in 2007 and I'm looking forward to Gritz's new MMA game.

I guess this is enough people to start out with. New people can join whenever they want.

First thing we will do is fighter creation. Everybody will start out with 85 points to use for fighter attributes. The attributes are:

conditioning- Efficiency- Strength- Speed- agressiveness- punching- kicking- clinching- takedowns-
sprawl- ground positioning- ground striking- submissions-
killer instinct- intelligence- toughness- heart-

Remember they must add up to 85.

For every fight you win you get 1 more point to add to your fighters attributes you just tell me which one you want it put on. For every fight you lose you lose 1 point.

also tell me how tall you want your fighter to be, how much they weigh, and what you want their name to be.

you can create as many fighters as you want but your fighters cannot fight each other they have to fight other peoples fighters.

If you have any questions just ask. PM me with your fighters when your ready.

Yes there will be 5 weight classes (same as UFC).

maybe it would be a good idea to have us fight under or natural weights, that should sort the men from the boys. we should create a fighter that resemblems ourselves.
