Games with Forum members
Hello everybody!
How about we organize a meeting (maybe once a month) that consists of online gaming, i.e. we choose a day of the month that we play "Age of Empires 2" for instance over the internet. Would you participate?
My description seems a little weird to me - if you need an explanation, please do not hesitate to ask for one.

Cool! I can post a description of how to do it, when I have more time, am in a little hurry now LOL. It does not have to be "Age of Empires 2", I just suggested it because of the pretty awesome multiplayer mode, and I just love the game itself.
Do you have the game? If not, we might find some game we all enjoy and own already .... maybe even more members would like to join us.
XBox would not work for me, but probably for many others around.

Have you seen screenshots of "Age of Empires III" that they are developing now? It looks incredibly good.

What does "rts" stand for?

Real Time Strategy
I love Age of Empires. I used to play Starcraft all the time too, and the Warcraft games.
Anyone play any shooters online like FarCry or Counter Strike?

Thanks, should have known that.
Used to play "Unreal Torunament".
I downloaded the official "Age of Empires III" demo and played it a little - all I can say is: Awesome!

Is this one better than "Splinter Cell"?

It really depends on the style you like.. Splinter Cell is more covert.. you dont want to be seen, you have to make quiet kills etc. Rainbow Six 3 is tactical combat, you want to avoid being seen at all costs just like in a real world situation but you dont automatically lose the mission should an alarm go off So to me, I like it more than Splinter Cell

Makes a lot of sense to me.
If you enjoy it being the bad guy (in a way) you should give "Hitman 3" a try ... you play as the professional killer "Number 47". In this game you can change clothes so you can trick your opponents. Very good game.

What little I've played of the Hitman series, it seemed fairly entertaining and clever.

I'm playing Hitman 2 right now actually. Put it on hold because I just got FarCry which is amazing. Hitman takes alot of patience. If you like to shoot and take out tons of guys, don't play Hitman. I personally enjoy it. Depends on what kind of gaming mood I'm in.

I would be interested in doing something like this. It is a great idea. Although I would get my butt kicked severly because I suck at most games except strategy and puzzle games. I also kick some booty in Hearts. I am trying to win by "shooting the moon" only. I have been working on it for months and I can never win the last hand. I get so frustrated.

Maybe I should get a poll going with some multiplayer games to see what is favored?
Of course different games can be played, but just an example ... "Age Of Empires II": one person (the host) configurates the game settings and can add a password functon so that really only forum members have access. Then we play and have chat functions and all, which is extremely funny when you know the persons you are talking to (not in person, but still).
