low quality company got the contract as games cost quite a bit of money to make.. you get what you put in.

I think it would be hard to put the nuance of Jiu Jitsu and kickboxing together in a format where the controls arent just crazy. Put in the fact that strikers like my boy Buentello would need a more advanced stand up game and takedown defense, and it sounds to me more like a PS3 game.

The control you would need would be crazy plus that got crap companys worjing on them like Crave entertainment and I never played the Pride game I bet its the same if you get a good group of creators trying to make a new fighting system and not copying an old one it should be ok I doubt it will happen though

Ps3 *drools*..
I bet they will work something out someday with I-Toys. I saw a preveiw of Ps3 and I-Toys (i think thats the name) had some cups in a demo where you can actually move the cup and it moves the cup ingame, and it can pick up water and stuff, kinda hard to explain, but basically if you had a glove from this company and you put it on and moved it around, it could move around ingame if you were in a first person view and i think that would be pretty neat to punch and stuff and have some for different parts of the body, these cups had no cords or anything, dont know how they worked but it was amazing..

I just bought UFC:Sudden Impact a couple weeks ago, and I have to admit I've had a lot of fun with it. It's fun to play with friends too.
I would like to see a much deeper simulation style though because the matches are all too short as a whole. I am having fun with it though.
I think it's definitely a strong starting point, and they could do some great things on the PS3. That could be a game for the ages.
Really though, an updated roster and a little better story mode would have me hooked no matter what..

Take note peoples.............EA Sports Madden NFL 2006 sponsored the Ultimate Fight Night, That means one thing to me EA is sponsoring the UFC in some capacity and if they are even giving a care I bet they will buy the License for UFC games and then you will have a good UFC title
Also I'm about to go log on to EA Sports now and send a E-Mail to EA telling them to buy the License for the UFC :P I ment to do it after I watched the UFN and saw Madden on there but I bought the new Madden and I forgot until now rofl I'll do it now and Thank them for sponsering the UFC

Yeah, that's a great idea reblmunke, I'll do the same.
EA would definitely help things out. I was pretty happy to see that UFN was sponsored in part by Madden 06.

i think all UFC games are bound to suck. especially for anyone who actually wants to fight in real life. there is just no way to make it real enough. sure they can be fun, but they'll never be real.

It may not be real, but how great would it be to have an MMA game as good looking and fun as Fight Night Rd2? Im confident that a "higher power" (aka the PS3) will deliver.

a PS3 fight game will certainly deliver in the graphics and gameplay department but its still going to lack one thing that makes fights so exciting, the adrenaline rush that comes with it. i always play fighting games and end up putting down the controller and hitting the heavy bag, but thats just me.

I feel that. I guess the closest you can get is maybe creating yourself as a fighter, and taking out a Hughes or Franklin in you first UFC on the hardest diff setting.

I don't know, I get an adrenaline rush when I play fighting games. Hell, I get fired up playing UFC: Sudden Impact, and everyone said that game stunk.
So if the PS3 does make a UFC game, it will be awesome! I bet it will sell good too.
I know I would be excited! I'm not a fighter in real life, so the games are more realistic to me. I could see where it would be a letdown for people who actually fight. But that could be said about any video game. NFL players who play Madden may not get that rush they do in real life, but I sure enjoy playing it.. So it's really not any different than any other sports game in that aspect.
Ok, enough ranting from me. Has anyone gotten a response back from EA or anyone else?

Not yet.........They don't reply to most things lie comments and stuff they tend to deal only with problems and I'm sure they are watching the Madden 06 boards and stuff to see what people think of it and what the glitches are.

I just couldn't get into the UFC games. I liked the boxing games, just not the MMA games. I don't know, they just were not fun to me.

The pride game for PS2 sucked! Good graphics but no real depth at all. Sudden Impact was good, not amazing but good. It has a customer character scenerio, Vitor(The old vitor, not the wait and shoot one), Bas, Tito, Lil Evil, Chuck and most of all The total apckage Arlovski! Not enogh blood tho! X
