I watched this one on Saturday night. It was a pretty close match that I had Hopkins winning by a hair, but I'm not outraged that the judges saw it as a draw.

youri

Hehe i'm happy for you that you didn't put any money on this! i am from Quebec's province where the fight was held and even people from here find it weird that pascal won it...

Maybe the decision was close, but putting liquid paper to correct the judge's score card is weird no?

Pascal might have won the first 5 rounds but after that hopkins really went over...

I was wondering if this fight was considered a big one in usa?

And is Lucian Bute starting to be recognized in usa too?

Not really at all TBH, i just so happened to be in Vegas this last weekend and noticed it when I was roaming in and out of the Sports Book.

Liquid paper on the score cards smells of tom foolery IMHO. And that's B.S.

Again, glad i didnt go with my instinct on this one.

I haven't seen the fight, but was in Vegas this weekend looking at the odds. Hopkins was @ +180 and I was sooo tempted to drop some $$ on him because I'm always confident in Hopkins bringing it despite his age he's still very tough and very effective.

But i didnt go with him and made (at the time what I thought was a bone head heart bet), on an 8-1 football odd, and I won ont he football. Then I see there was a Draw on the Hopkins fight and the particular sportsbook I was at had a no refund thing for Draws, so...

Glad I went with the bonehead football bet. The Hopkins bet wouldve been more logical.

Heard it was dead close though Youri.
