The Barbarian is a powerful melee class. It uses polearms, swords, axes and other single-handed and double-handed weapons. The new feature is an arsenal system that gives Barbarians four slots for weapons which allows you to swap between them with ease. Barbarians have strong AOE attacks and dash strikes.
Druids are shapeshifters that use lightning and earth magic. They can transform into a werewolf or werebear for different combat styles. They can also switch forms mid-combo in order to broaden their range of moves during combat (called seamless shapeshifting).
Sorceress/Sorcerer is a standard mage type that employs the combination of lightning, fire, and ice, along with other attributes for attack such as AOE, AOD, or straight-up damage. Of the many spells they have, one that stands out is turning into a ball of lightning and moving across the landscape to strike multiple targets for the most damage.
The latest reveal in BlizzConline revealed the Rogue class, which is by far the fourth class playable coming to Diablo IV. Inactive since the first Diablo it is a dexterity oriented class is focused on speed, quick reflexes, in addition to abilities that disable and delay multiple enemies at a time.
Wielding both a bow and short sword, Rogue has the ability to stealth as well as quick movements to draw on over against their enemies. According to the designers, gamers who loved playing the Assassin and their counterparts the Demon Hunter from Diablo and III respectively will see lots of similarities to the abilities and skills of the Rogue.
