When we took over, we weren't able to retain information on the old moderators, so we really don't know who they were. So for now, the only moderators will be me (Jason), and one part time employee that will help keep an eye out for topics that obviously aren't allowed (scams, spam, things like that).

I should have also mentioned that most threads automatically archive after 90 days. Most of the topics you see here are from the old site, so you can read them, but they're too old for a reply. Feel free to make any new topics, though, by clicking "Post a New Topic" in the upper right of the main page.

As many of you know, this site was active from 2005 until 2011, at which time it went down unexpectedly. In October 2013, the site was purchased by GoNC, the parent company for numerous message board sites throughout North Carolina.

We rebuilt the site, retaining as much of the old site as possible, and re-launched it on January 1, 2014.

For the most part, we try to moderate with a light touch, and usually only intervene when threads are going off topic due to a fight (or intentional actions) from one or two users. Our goal is to keep the conversations interesting for the majority, so if you see something that you think needs attention, please report it to us!

There are a few minor features left to be uploaded, which we hope to finish up by the end of today (January 1). If you have any other features that you would like to see, or have any problems after January 1, please post here and let us know! Or, you can click on my username to send a Private Message.
