Hmmm, I go up Clarion all the time cause I know a lot of people that go to school there........I might have to try and catch a match or two.

Clarion was a powerhouse for a while. Kurt Angle was a 2x NCAA champ from Clarion. UFC vet Frankie Edgar is a wrestling alum of Clarion. While they have not been as top notch in the past few years, they are still competitive. They also host two all day tournaments, which is a great way to see a lot of matches in one day. Here's their 09-10 schedule.

Back to the Cleveland area, St Edwards High School in Cleveland is a national powerhouse. Trust me, watching some of their matches is like watching D1 college wrestling. UFCer Gray Maynard is a St Ed's grad. If you are ever lucky enough to watch them dual Blair Academy of New Jersey, its almost a guarantee that you'll be watching a future NCAA National Champion in action. I helped recruit a few St Ed's guys and they are as sound technically as anywhere.

CSTV will definitely show some good matches.

Another idea is to catch some matches live. Cleveland State has an okay team in a good conference. But they host a pretty big tournament in mid-December, the Cleveland State Open. It attracts some first and second teamers from powerhouses like Penn State, Ohio State, and Northwestern, as well as teams in their conference like Pittsburgh, Clarion, and West Virginia.

I know Ohio State is a ways away from you, but they are a top 10 powerhouse, especially with Tom Ryan at the helm. Clarion also has some tough individuals.

During the collegiate season, mid-November to March, there are few channels where you can find collegiate wrestling if those channels are available to you. Nationally, ESPN-U and CBS College Sports Network (aka CSTV) will carry a decent amount of NCAA events a year. ESPN-U carried every round of this year's D1 Nationals as well as some D2 and D3 coverage.

You likely don't get this channel, but Iowa Public TV shows dozens of matches every season. As does one of the local channels in the Lehigh Valey of Pennsylvania.

Let me know where you are located and I might be able to help you out.:)

I get CSTV.......I'm in northeast Ohio about 30 mins from Cleveland.

The only time you can for sure watch NCAA wrestling is during Nationals. I believe my family said they watched it on ESPN2. If it is not Nationals then I would say your local sports channels that are around the University.

So does anyone know the schedule's for collage wrestling?

Sometimes I see it on ESPN and stuff but I have a lot of sports channels and never know when or where collage wrestling is.

It's fun to watch if you have some understanding of the scoring and all that when you get one of the really good guys and they just own someone its crazy.

Where is the TV schedule for the big schools like OSU and Iowa and all that when do they wrestle.
